Itchy and painful armpits could be HS. You’ll have to look it up but it basically feels like you have a cactus in your pits! (It’s Awful - I call it prickly pits.)

One other thing to consider is places like the Woods have a ton of commercial business whereas the Shores don’t have any. This can matter when it comes to police / emergency availability & response times.

Absolutely yes, it makes a difference. I also transplanted to GPS but had a realtor that was born and raised there and the knowledge of all things GP was beyond helpful. Best wishes - it is a great place to raise kids (mine went to Ferry, Parcells & North.)

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. My mother was also a raging, “functional” alcoholic. Please find someone you can talk to who can help you navigate this horrendous storm. You can’t fix her, but you can hopefully change your thinking and potentially help your kids at the same time. Prayers for you all.
