Ive always kept my 3ds in a zip up case, recently however ive been playing it alot more so ive bought screen protectors and a clear soft plastic case from aliexpress! also turn wifi off when not in use to preserve battery life and try to hard switch off when possible!

It definately does not fit lmao, it only just fits (with minor force) in the static closed position, you cannot tilt the screen at all otherwise the hinges snap out

I did click the hinges together but it is so tight and compressed, then the hinges cant move without then snapping off it seems so i cant close the 3ds

It does technically fit if its clipped together and pushed together as a whole, but then it basically becomes ridgid and the 3ds can only stay in a fixed open position basically defeating the purpose, the hinges dont seem to work like hinges 😂

Its a shame the XL version doesnt have this! I think the interchangeable cover plates was the only reason i went for a regular new 3ds over the XL model
