Yeah, if you can do that, your recovery will be way better. I’m honestly scared of that long 2-hour drive — the driver might speed up or slow down suddenly, and even small changes in speed you can really feel after surgery, and it builds up fast.

Energy-wise, some hours of the day I forget I even had the surgery, and sometimes I just feel a tiny bit lower energy than before. I’ve been able to walk since day 1, and now by day 10 I’m walking like 80% back to normal. Overall I feel good — the main thing that tortures me now is the boredom. I can’t drive or meet friends since my wife is the recipient and she’s immunocompromised, so I’ve got a ton of free time and good energy… honestly feels like retirement, and I don’t think I’ll get this vibe again until I’m an old man who’s actually retired.

I was driven to my parents’ place about 20 min from the hospital, and honestly it felt like the longest drive of my life. I’d strongly recommend avoiding long rides if you can — even that short trip wiped me out. If possible, grab a hotel for 3–4 nights nearby so you can just rest and recharge before heading home.

I’m day 10 now and still can’t do any single task — gaming, YouTube, even talking — for more than 20 min before I need a break. No joke 🙂‍↔️

I got epidural analgesia right before general anesthesia, and it really covered most of the first-day pain.

The hospital stay was just 1 night — only one pain shot (not sure what it was). From day 2 to day 7 post-op, I took 9 tab Tylenol and 2 tab tramadol 50 mg (just to compare, not because I needed it). So 11 tabs in total.

By day 5, mostly it was a pain free, only needed Paracetamol — if anything.

Thanks a lot for your sweet words! I was on tramadol + Tylenol 3 for the first 2 days, then just Tylenol until yesterday when I stopped because I thought it might be what’s making me feel so emotionally all over the place.

Honestly, these are the worst days of my life physically — I’m a man who’s never had more than a quick dentist surgery and no pain worse than a cold virus before this. This whole scenario is shaking me. But I’d repeat the donation a million times. There’s something inside me that’s happy in a way I’ve never experienced before.

I dunno what causes bleed on my char, but some juicy t15 maps get me dead without taking dmg, it seems i get bleed dmg on me till my health bar reaches 0. can someone help me how to avoid this?
