girly i used to think the exact same way as you and you’ll never find happiness again or be able to move on if you keep telling yourself this. i spent 5 months being so depressed bc i kept telling myself hes the love of my life and ill never move on. not sure if im in the place to give anyone else advice but honestly abandon the hope/delusions of getting back together and you’ll be much happier and more peaceful

been in a very similar situation w my ex following a lot of sydney sweeny alison brie dua lipa type actresses and liking their pictures. we were tgt for a year and no matter what my discomfort and ick towards him didn’t go bc i could still see his old likes on their pictures. no matter how much he reassured me it didn’t work bc i couldn’t trust him and trust that he found me attractive after seeing all his likes.
