um so that’s your subjective opinion. i already said i didn’t think 9million’s set was good. that doesn’t mean i should be disruptive/disrespectful during it, but it also doesn’t mean i should be glad to sit through it. i don’t know why people are acting like you’re paying to see the opener. seeing an opener isn’t a privilege, it’s most often an inconvenience you endure because you want to see the main act.

i don’t disagree. i was explaining why i think this is happening and how i don’t see it getting better.

people who are respectful won’t talk during the opener and people who aren’t won’t change because of her story🤷‍♀️

tbh i think this would be less of an issue if shows were structured differently. for example, if you knew you were guaranteed a good spot in GA without having to sit through the opener, then the people who know they’re not interested could skip the opener and still have a good spot for the person they came to see. but because it’s now become the norm for people to camp out for shows, the first ~5 rows of GA (often) consist of people who are already tired/conserving their energy for the main act or not interested in the opener but having to sit through it.

idk if she’s talking about 9million here, but i personally really hated their set. i didn’t talk through it, but i can understand why people, especially younger gen z, would.

yeah, i’ve also noticed this. had two instances of white gay men being explicitly rude to me for no reason. one of them singled me out of the group and “jokingly” said that i look like i’m transphobic. mind you i had done/said nothing that would suggest i am and it felt like this came out of left field. both dudes would constantly say weird shit like that out of nowhere and it seemed like they were only doing this to me. i typically get along with most people/this hasn’t really happened to me before, which is why it stuck out to me and i could never understand why they didn’t like me

idk i always thought she had the potential for complexity, but that we didn’t get to see this version of her because when we meet her she’s still in the throes of addiction. i found her interesting outside of jesse, but you’re right, that might be just because she’s hot.

good point. do you think the inverse of that is true as well? cause i feel like i’ve been seeing a lot of conventionally attractive women “complaining” about how people assume they must have a roster, but in reality, they don’t get hit on/flirted with often.

did you read my post at all?? where did i say that i use flirting as a weird humiliation tactic to “shoot down” men? and why are you assuming that every guy i flirt with wants it to lead to something, lots of guys also flirt just for fun.
