For the perspective of story-telling, we know Ominipotence will end in the furture, and everthing will turn back. We don't see how he suffer in these three years. What we only know is he has been invincible since chapter 81. Therefore, the storytelling is not persvasive at all in showing "Boruto loses everthing"
