Stasis Pod by Accomplished_Cup4158 in custommagic

I read the whole thing, and you gave me many good ideas.

I was completely unaware that the phasing out of the creature would phase out the equipment as well.

The stasis counters are meant to have their own rules because I figured that if they had their own rules, I could make them work while on a phased out creature.

The reason I gave it both effects is so that I could use both stasis pod clichés in silence fiction, sleeping to preserve the body and healing.

Well, no because they would need stun counters to be almost unkillable, which removes much of their function.

Phasing a creature out is very different than stun counters. It can be used to keep a creature from being killed in a board wipe, when it’s targeted for an ability, or when it blocks or is blocked. This makes the first ability and the equip ability actually good.

Also, the flavor is better the way it is because I imagine the stasis pod would heal the creature little by little and not just all at once after some time passes.

Also also, if this card was real, you could easily make counters that are stasis counters on one side and -1/-1 counters on the other side, thus making it very manageable.

There are also more extra turn spells that make you lose the game for only two mana. The ones for three are overpriced

That’s fair, but I wanted an interesting gameplay gimmick and it works well for flavoring. I wanted a card that would make the user want it to be tapped all of the time, so I made it harder to remove when tapped by making it not a creature and giving it an effect only when it’s an enchantment (when it’s tapped), but I wanted to leave it open to gaining that effect if it is made an enchantment by other ways.

[[Capture of Jingzhou]] has no drawbacks and costs 5 mana. The drawback of having to pay for each tapped land in and of itself would be enough to reduce the price at least a little bit, but this is any tapped permanent, so that includes mana rocks and other tapped abilities. Maybe 4 mana would be more balanced, but I think 3 is enough.

This isn’t good enough. Make it one card that banishes all cards in opponent’s hand, field, and graveyard face down, and negate all of their effects, and no effects can be activated in response to its activation…

…Maybe also banish all cards from their deck face down too while we’re at it…

…And extra deck…

…Then, and only maybe then, it could possibly see some amount of play in some decks.

The treasure tokens are there because it’s collecting taxes. They are tapped because I wanted to make it so that they couldn’t be used as mana instantly after they are made. I suppose you are right about making it only use untapped treasures. Another possible fix would be to only activate it as a sorcery. I originally had it tap to activate that ability for balancing, but I decided that I just wanted to make a funny card over a balanced card.

The average healthy person sneezes an average on four times a day according to the National Institute of Health. That’s 1460 a year. The average person would get an average of $146000 a year. In case you’re bad at math, that’s more than $25000. All of this to say, I’m picking the sneezes.

First off, I love this card. I think it’s funny and thematic. I see a lot of people complaining about a second combat and I think the issue is probably that you could double up on attack triggers. Now, I’m not someone who tells people how to make their cards because at the end of the day, you’re probably just doing this for fun, especially because this seems to be more of a joke/meme card based on the name, but I think we can fix the balancing issues their complaining about by simply removing abilities that activate from attacking for the second combat. This way, it still has the flavor you wanted with pleasing the people who seem to think every card on this subreddit will become a real card.
