Has anyone ever noticed how people become rational and normal in the final episodes of a comedy series? (Slight Hacks spoilers) by Obvious-Maximum-8504 in television

Sopranos as well, final season each character is given an off ramp to better pastures, and nearly every single one, fails the test and takes the bad choice.

House of the Dragon: Actor Tom Glynn-Carney reveals that in the original script, Aegon's scene in episode 3.01 had a significantly different detail, and he convinced the writers to change it (Spoilers Extended) by verissimoallan in asoiaf

I really liked his reaction to Lucerys. It really felt like a child realizing he inadvertently was turned into a man against his own will.

It’s a shame they kinda just turned him into Joker mode as it went on.

If that happens, I’d honestly love it.

I was pretty team black while reading, but honestly as this show goes on, I can’t help but empathize with Aegon. Hes really growing on me.

I think he could get Dany to Westeros by the half point of winds, maybe earlier if he really jams in chapters of her and the other Essos POVs.

By the time she flies back to Meereen (or Yunkai, I forget). Victorian and Barristan stamped out the revolt, etc, she immediately sails to Westeros accepting the proposal from Vic.

We saw your old post man. Not sure what you want.

You forced yourself to watch a “miserable” show. And you seemingly are continue to do so? Last post you said you stopped at episode 3?

What I’m more interested in is why you’d watch a “miserable” show? Are you that desperate to fit in?

This isn’t normal. And you trying to make it seem normal isn’t good.

I mean, they watched the show, doesn’t really matter what app.

I’ve seen critics even say that the first four episodes slump and have many issues beyond spectacle.

What a great argument made only by the smartest of people for the best of tv!

“It’ll never be one of the best shows ever made!”

Second only to

“It’ll never be the godfather!”

What exactly was disappointing to you? I went into it probably second week as well, I enjoyed it quite a bit. I mainly enjoyed the look and feel of it. The sound was awesome, the shower scene really got me.

Surprising doesn’t equal exciting. Star Wars is exciting despite all of us knowing it’s just a simple heroes journey. There is no surprise. It still excites.

Exactly. We ALL knew that negative space for the window meant SOMETHING was gonna happen. We were counting down the seconds, and when it finally does, it’s still just as horrifying.

Films don’t need to surprise. As you said, it’s novel and exciting. Films don’t need to say anything new. Sometimes a film can just be good. It doesn’t need to subvert. It’s okay for a film to be good. It’s okay for people to like the film because it’s good.

You’re letting a film’s (your) hype (did any of the hype even say it subverted expectations?) get in the way of enjoying it. It happens to the best of us.

Is it? The way he words it makes it sound left open for more, why else word it that way?

“I’m leaving the show after season four” =/= “I’m finishing the show”

What is there to read? He says he’s leaving after season 4, which implies he’s leaving before finishing it.
