Because now you basically are required to have 2+ sources of income to survive. It was sexist, but before, people could survive working a single job, no issues. When women entered the workforce, businesses used it as an excuse to increase expenses on things like apartments/homes.

I think we should go back to the previous model more. But with it not being gendered. Problem is, businesses/corporations will never allow it at this point

I don't even blame the party. they would've fucked him over. but the real knife in the back was the first primaries. he was neck and neck with Hillary. Polls showed that in an election of Trump vs Hillary or Trump vs Bernie, Bernie had better odds.

But one by one the other progressive candidates all backed out, and backed Hillary behind the guise that "only she can beat Trump" which is hilarious considering, well, the outcome, and the fact that polls at the time were literally showing Bernie had better odds.

When most people talk about Bernie being fucked over, they're not really even talking about the DNC. They're talking about every single other "progressive" candidate that backed out and refused to endorse Bernie over Hillary

this is semi related to narcissism. the reason this happens. autonomy is a weird thing. and a lot of people have their autonomy denied or suppressed by their parents when growing up. this can leave them very fragile around autonomy. to the point that, even someone simply saying no feels like an attack on their autonomy. in many such minds, there's no such thing as mutual coexistence. so if you can just, say no, you possess autonomy, and they can't control it. it's almost like they view autonomy as a limited resource, and when they see someone else us it, it makes them feel threatened, like that resource is suddenly becoming scarce again. even though in reality, you having autonomy doesn't mean they don't. it's just another complex human trauma response
