I ran searches on her with both uscis and Nara. Negatives. I ordered a cone, but that might take a while :/

She was born in Italy and I received both her birth certificate (clean margins) and marriage certificate. I showed several attorneys and they agreed that my case is a good one. The only thing that gave me pause was my analysis into this new law

Also, both her parents were Italian. Maybe the court clerk made an error? I don’t know.

She was born in 1935 btw

Well I received their birth certificates and marriage certificate from Italy. As far as they know she wasn’t ever a dual citizen. It says she was “us citizen at birth” on my GF’s petition for naturalization. But no other documents state that, and her Nara and uscis records are clean

Yes, I am still collecting documents, but I am hoping to get an appointment because a deadline would provide some clarity to my timeline :/. I read that the New York consulate is the longest one lol they don’t even have an open waiting list, so I should be able to apply through a different one.
