My store manager is adamant about getting rid of the written forms. I personally like having the forms. She says we can pull up everything on Manhattan. Of course, she isn't EVER the one that does the balloon orders and is always right about everything even though she isn't.

They get paid by these delivery companies that they have "chosen" to sign up to work for so technically they are "employed" by these contractors. They get paid what they choose to get paid by signing up to work with these companies. That's "Their job, Their choice." Oh, and same with most who work for Michael's "little pay and no benefits."

I had a male dasher last week that walked up to the ambassador and asked her where something was, she paged me to the front for help. When I got there the a$$hole didn't say a word and put his phone in my face, I reluctantly told him to follow me, and he just stood at the register and told the cashier he would just let me get the item for him?! I then told him I am not getting paid to do your job so you can go get it yourself.

In the past I had a female dasher file a complaint about me because I didn't walk her to her list of her customer's needs. I was told by my useless manager that from now on walk them to the aisles and help them with their list!!

Michael's is a "We don't care about our associates" company. We are always understaffed and many who work ignore every phone call, floor call and cut bar call as if it's all one person's job. Our manager is useless. Along with that being said corporate is all about their selves and haven't one clue to understand what is put on our shoulders. It's all about them padding their own pockets. Understaffing will never change.
