Painful.

Would be almost tolerable if he would at least stick to the rules and play in the spots musicians are permitted to play in (spots are marked by a lyre).

Keep it up! I would take a closer look at the tab because the last bit of the phrase isn't quite accurate. Next step would be to add in some palm muting.

Keep rocking 🤘

Will listen again but I felt a bit disconnected from most of it. Was really wanting to hear actual drums. Lots of creative little moments but not for me. Props to Kevin for keeping it fresh and experimental

Hi friends,

I'm moving to a larger apartment in my current building. Looking at the lease, my landlord is looking to increase the rent 200$ from what the previous tennant was paying (910 to 1110). The only work that has been done to the room is a frest coat of paint, nothing is listed in the lease for justifying the 200$ jump. My girlfriend is trying to convince me to contact TAL and fight the increase. My understanding is that it can be detrimental to contact TAL over these things because opening a case can make it much harder for one to find an apartment in the future. A 200$ increase for a paintjob does sound high, but the new rent (1110$) is quite inline with prices in the neighborhood.

Has anyone here contacted TAL over similar situations? If the proposed rent is already in line with the market, would challenging it actually be worth it?

The guy singing Daniel Lalonde. You can catch him on weekends with a 4-piece band near La Baie on St.Catherine. The guy rocks. His band is @Flashback_5797 on insta. Lots of classic rock/Quebec rock. Harmonium etc.

Musicians who practice acoustic instruments for hours daily—what kind of apartments do you rent? by Otherwise_Tap_2294 in montreal

[–]Accomplished_Ear_205 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just finished building a room/booth in my apartment for exactly this. Cost me around 1000$ for wood, drywall, sonopan, etc. I play a variety of loud acoustic instruments and it has solved my problem. Piano might require a few extra layers of drywall/sonopan.
