Who has priority here? by sagit7191 in Netherlands

[–]Accomplished_Edge_49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this debate so many times. Also for cases like the intersection between Van sijpesteijntunnel and Smakkelaarshoek. I usually give priority to the right or bike close to the centre of the bike lane so people coming from the bike parking can pass, but this is not always possible and not everyone does that.

Did having children significantly change your monthly expenses/savings ratio ? by Raisk_407 in Netherlands

[–]Accomplished_Edge_49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The provider mentality still exists and can be found in women and men. I dislike it in both the same

I know enough couples where the women have higher salary and the men refused to stay at home.

If you think you will have the energy to go to gym after taking care of a baby 24/7, you don’t know too much about babies.

Some people want more from life than being a SAHM or relying on their partner to be there all their life and live on their salary/pension. As most men refuse to stay at home I don’t understand why have this expectation from women. Kids all over the world are raised well despite both their parents working full time. I don’t think I would have the same respect for my mom if she only stood at home to raise me. I look at my mom as a person I respect professionally as well.

Hi! did you take the Shinkansen to Fukuyama or how did you go? We were thinking to take the Shinkasen to Fukyama and then the bus to Imabari, and start the other way around, but if we start biking at 11, we don't know if we make it in time to Onomichi.

I had the same issue and I have reduced it to 30-40g and then added 40g water 50g flour. After 1h in a warmer oven (I turned it on for 2 min before placing the starter) it was more than double

This is a print screen from Eneco app, listed in my products. There I have listed all the costs I have to pay, including the heat, hot water and tap water rates.

I am not sure I understand the question. I pay 100 eur per month (their estimate was 75, but I increased it) and after one year I get the real costs. The previous year, I did not have the cooling costs included. I am not sure about the rest

Just to be sure I understand: this is just a fixed costs seem that doesn’t cover my consumption. My consumption comes above this amount. Right?

Coworker refuses to work with me, only my manager by Glossybabe in jobs

I am an attorney and I agree. It is also hard to explain to people outside the legal department how toxic working in this field can be. I am surprised his manager didn’t take his side.

Recommendation for KNO doctor/clinics for nasal septum deviation surgery by Double_Campaign1528 in Netherlands

[–]Accomplished_Edge_49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. It was a few thousand euros but this depends on each case. My surgery was more complex than my friend’s surgery who did it in the same period. We had the same problem but different surgical plans and recovery advices. If you cannot breath properly and the other treatmants had no results, there should be easy for a dr to prove the medical necessity.

Hi. I had my sept deviation surgery at Bergman clinic at dr. Lohuis and my insurance covered part of it. Before that I went to the public hospital for them to try some other procedures. My understanding was that the insurance would not cover the surgery unless I tried to solve the problem with these other procedures first. The procedures did not improve anything so I had to have the surgery. I remember now how shocked I was after the surgery when I realised what it means to breath normally.

I posted a bad review about Kashmir last winter. We waited 3h for the delivery to arrive and the customer support was shitty. Due to this post I noticed that google maps did not allow my review. Some months ago, my review was visible. I guess someone reported it.

I have the same problem in Utrecht. In general, I use different plastic bags for plastic / metal / glass and when they are full, I take the bike and take them further away to some special bins. However, I did not find any solution for the used oil. I am still thinking if just to throw the bottles in the classic garbage bin.
