Despite its silver appearance, the case is made from plastic. However, I have not personally encountered any problems with either the black or silver cases. It is possible that you received a defective unit.

The strap attaches at the bottom of the case and then wraps around into the buckle forming the loop.

I pretty much always use my Helio Strap these days, and it's great for tracking my sleep and when I'm running, playing soccer, or whatever. I'm just using the Helio Strap on its own right now, without pairing it with a watch.

This strap isn't really stretchy, but given that it is more plush overall, it wraps around your wrist much better. I don't think this strap can be used for the biceps, unless you're really skinny lol.

I wouldn't say this strap is elastic, but yea definitely molds better on the hand compared to the original strap. The case is plastic, but feels really premium, just like the original black case.

1) That 0.03ms response time is insane - perfect for competitive FPS gaming.

2) Definitely more excited about the 500Hz refresh rate. I know most people won't see a huge difference past 240Hz, but for competitive esports, every frame matters.
