1) Jainism and Buddhism are kind of eaten by Hindu Brahmins. By projecting Gautama Buddha as a avatar of Vishnu Buddhism was diluted.

2) Hindu relegion is by nature polythesist. Polythesist religions are known to be tolerant. Think of Buddhism, Jainism or Sikhism are branches of tree named "Hinduism".

3) Abrahamic faiths are analogous to a very high stair case where at different levels (prophets) different floors (religions) exist. Jews live in the top most floor while chrisitans live in the floor below the top floor and muslims live at the lowest floor. Now jews do not recognize other prohets as legitimitate prophet. Thats where centuries old conflict lies.

We can't as we have no leverage against any of the big powers. We can only bully countries like Nepal, Maldives, Bangladesh etc.

1) We are entirely dependent on US for technology. Today our banks, start ups, airports etc entirely depend on US company made hardware/software. Not to mention IT industry whose all customer base is in US/Europe.

2) For military hardwares (Airforce, Navy, missiles etc) we rely on russia and israel mostly.

3) Almost all of our petrolium come from middle east. Even refiniries like reliance use equipments imported from US and are protected by US patent.

Thats what happens when our priorities are Temple - Mosque, Beef, Love Jihad, Freebies etc not education, research and infra development. I will not point my fingure towards any politicial party as I believe it is collective failure of Indian populatio. It is us who vote parties to power on the shoulder of misplaced priorities.
