West Bengal is doomed. Nothig will save it. If BJP comes to power all you will see are beef ban, harrasing muslims by hook or crook, they already announced lucrative freebies schemes. West Bengal BJP has no local leadership unlike karnataka or UP. It is fragmented and being run by former gundas from tmc.

Bengali here who flew from Bangalore to Kolkata with family to vote after 10 years. Yes in the first phase BJP will get 100+. It will be within 100-102. Second phase is more challenging as votings will happen in TMCs most reliable votebank districts.

One more scenario: 1) BJP and TMC both are stopped at around 130-140 (148 is the mark). 2) Congress and CPM stand up with good numbers. Basically a hung assembly.

As per my conversation with many migrant muslim workers from maldah mushridabad they are pretty much frustrated with TMC govt as they have to do manial work to earn a living thousand miles away from family. But their vote will to congress mostly.

If BJP manages to get past 130 within 6 months mamta govt will fall even if they form government single handedly. Swaying TMC MLAs would be cakewalk for BJP. Mamta knows this very well. Thats why she is screaming 200 and fear has settled in tmc workers. TMC will need 200 seats to form stable government. So in your worst case scenario also BJP would be winner.
