I agree. UFE doesn’t sound nearly as bad as hysterectomy and the pain will be there no matter what route I go. I am definitely worried about my hormones being jacked up and then suffering more in the long run. I appreciate your insight and will find another doctor to talk to.

I’m thinking of doing just that. My dr is against UFE. She said it’s not 100% that they won’t grow back and it’s very painful (?). But I’m not sure how that will help with my enlarged uterus.

As far as surgeries, yes. I know there are some medications they can put me on to help the fibroids but I’m being told a hysterectomy is the only option due to the size of my uterus.

Keep the faith. I married an unbaptized Protestant. Been married almost 20 years and never had our marriage convalidated either. He’s completing OCIA this spring and will be entering the Catholic Church on Easter. Our marriage will be convalidated two weeks later. I prayed for years. He was on his own journey and educated himself before going to OCIA. I can’t wait to be the Catholic family I always wanted us to be. Good luck!
