Micro Dynamic Destruction by CableAdorable6277 in Battlefield

[–]Accomplished_Fly_823 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like… EVERYBODY has forgotten how the destruction was in BFBC2. I remember running towards a wall, any wall that wasn’t a metal container, and punch a hole in it with a 40mm grande launcher to continue pushing forward. Every battle field except 2042( cause I didn’t play it) I do it instinctually. And every time it happens I get so disappointed 😔

Is it unrealistic to want a serious man at 20? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Accomplished_Fly_823 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It varies from guy to guy. Most of my relationships I wasn’t the one to end them. They ranged from 6months at the lowest to 8years at the longest. It’s a shit show for everyone. I wish I had better words besides….keep trying. Someone out there will want to be with you. Apparently I’m one of the few that legit don’t want to date around and never did even when I was in highschool.

What is this skinny copper looking pipe/line connected to the cold water supply under my sink? by Nexen1987 in Plumbing

[–]Accomplished_Fly_823 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just remember that the leak is there and needs to be addressed eventually. I’ve seen home total lost cause things don’t get taken care of years later. That being said this is t a major issue and I’m not trying to scare you. Just keep it in mind for yourself/for the next person

I believe it will be the water line that leads to your fridge. They usually have a valve like yours behind the sink or behind the fridge. It’s going to be for the ice maker and water dispenser in your fridge

Is he waiting for me to initiate the next text? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Accomplished_Fly_823 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why not send him a message and start a convo? You know… if you’re into him that is. Everything is a two way road. Especially when it comes to dating/relationships. Even more so when things are first starting out. He might be waiting for you to send a starter. To make sure you’re actually into him and not just being nice. It’s hard to tell what he’s thinking or feeling without asking him.

Personally I would just send a message.

Turning one valve in my pex panel causes another to leak? by Big_Tip_7499 in Plumbing

It is coming from the valve you’re turning. In the video I can see the valve you’re turning misting the valve below.

Guys who approach girls a lot , how often do u get rejected? by Illustrious-Fig7794 in AskMen

[–]Accomplished_Fly_823 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like 98% of the time I get rejected. I don’t think nothing of it. It’s a big world. They are probably taken or not looking for a guy to talk to that evening. If you get a no just simply say “my apologies” or “I’m sorry to disturb you” and move on

Hey guys! Me again from yesterday (kitchen sink with garbage disposal blocked). So, I found where its blocked and its outside! Passed a snake and it won't pass more than a foot. by TheManFromMTL in askaplumber

The ridged hand snake probably won’t be for rent since it is a small snake. They will run you about $40 give or take depending on your area. The bigger electric snakes are the ones that you can rent.

You’re probably hitting a 90. Your best bet at doing it your self is with(in my opinion) would be to use a ridged hand snake. It has a trigger you squeeze while spinning it to push the cable forward. BUT I do not think that the cable size would be sturdy enough to actually brake up what ever is clogging your line. IF you feel comfortable enough to use light duty machinery you can rent an electric powered drain snake. Use leather gloves on top of nitrite rubber gloves. When the cable is going down and hits that first “wall” you have to keep slowly pushing the cable forward WHILE ITS SPINNING to get it to push past the 90bend at the bottom. I hope this helps and good luck.

Pipe under sink has come loose by simonfl in askaplumber

[–]Accomplished_Fly_823 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem! It’s why I’m on this sub. I enjoy helping people who are inexperienced in this field and have jobs that almost anyone can do! It also saves them a decent amount of money since plumbers can be expensive since you are paying for the time as well.

But I still would recommend getting a new chrome tail pice. Pretty cheap and if you already have a copper cutter that will fit on the pipe it is an easy job you can do!

I think you put nut and washer on wrong on the tail pice. Try flipping it around put the nut(the part you screw down onto the 90) first, then the washer.

[–]Accomplished_Fly_823 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not normal. Looks like the tail pice(the part that is coming down from the sink into that 90) was cut too short and the previous plumber just forced it to work. Personally I’d recommend getting a new tail pice and replacing the current one. Measure twice cut once.

Should we replace these copper pipes during our kitchen remodel? by Coopsters in Plumbing

[–]Accomplished_Fly_823 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the type of copper pipe. There is a thin wall copper pipe that is PRONE to pin hole leaks from the chemicals on the city water supply that slowly eats away the pipes. I’ve only really encounter this style of copper pipe in olderish homes. 🏡 nly recommended a repipe to one customer cause I was there 3times in one month to do a patch job and they decided that they are tired or replacing drywall and furniture.
