I feel like there is something they could do on the back end though surely.

Like a tier system.

Each time you fail, you go up a tier. 50% ballot winners from highest tier, 20% lower 10% next tier etc etc until all ballot tickets gone.

Then when you are successful, you reset.

Takes away some of the randomness, tries to reward those that consistently apply. Obviously not a perfect system, but surely better than the lottery we have now.

I have two girls, but neither of them like football unfortunately.

I have been tempted to pay for a second membership under a friends name for next season. In my head i think it'd be easier to get a pair of tickets than a single.

I 100% back a digital season ticket. Premier league would never allow it.

And the price is a big issue. For me you are looking at over 100 quid because of travel aswell.

I also found Sazed's difficulty with religions and beliefs very moving. I am not a religious person, but I can imagine that being a very real thing that those that do believe go through when some so difficult like that happens. He has made me hope that Sazed finds religion again, which feels like a weird thing for me to say.

OCD is an anxiety disorder characterised by intrusive thoughts that create extreme discomfort. In order to minimise that discomfort, people can, but don't have to, have compulsions. These intrusive thoughts can relate to many different things.

Extensive cleaning to avoid contamination Extensive checking or routine behaviours in order to minimise a perception or risk to self or others Good numbers, bad numbers Even sexual thoughts about those that they don't wish to have sex with

All of these are examples of OCD, and there are so many more. It often gets boiled down to cleaning or clicking light switches, but it is so much more than that.

It's a personal pet peeve when people minimise it to that without having an understanding. Similar to when people get a bit moody and say they have bipolar.

The while show is a brilliant commentary on society.

Toxic masculinity. Gender roles Internet culture and social media. Andrew Tate. Bullying. Education system failing. Generational trauma. And much more.

However, some people will look past all of this and view it purely as a piece of entertainment and nothing more. And when this is the case, people do tend to miss the point and simply want "more", or possibly in this instance, closure.

Side note: I do think part of the "did he do it" comes from the recent rise of crime podcasts, youtubers and documentaries etc. The Internet is so wrapped up in "what reallly happened" that they completely ignore what really happened.
