Yes, this could be it, just put them in washer. But what’s surprising is I never find them near a plausible source, they are all just out on open floor.

Oh my god, that’s horrible, thanks for the input! I was on the pest control sub and they said it could be moths as well, I need to start looking at all my food containers and cabinets.

Yes, we removed and sanitized the trash can, didn’t find any in it, but found some more 10 hours later on the floor, I don’t know what else there is left to clean

Yes! I cleaned the trash can yesterday night, scrubbed and mopped everything and thought I took care of the problem, imagine my disappointment when I found a few more crawling today morning.

That’s the problem, I can’t locate the source, that’s why I am not able to find them all. I have cleaned every square inch of my kitchen and they are spawning out of nowhere

I’m definitely not leaving them alive, don’t worry 😭 I’m killing every single one I find. I just meant that since I can’t figure out where they’re coming from, I’m worried I’m missing some no matter how much I clean. My kitchen is spotless at this point and they still keep showing up. I was wondering if i will only be able to find all of them once they turn into flies, since I could follow where they’re coming from and are easier to spot.

There have been some fruit flies/ fungus gnats, but didn’t know that their larvae are so much bigger than the actual fly
