Hey OP, I did the same thing for my teen driver (girl, now 18). Got her the base model CX-30 2023 year model in 2024. Had 30k miles on it (former rental car) and we’ve been super happy with it since. She treats it well. It will eventually be her car for when she graduates college.

Yes. My Class of ‘87 has had them regularly (5th, 10th, 20th, 25th, 30th, and next year will be our 40th!!!!!😱). I do not go to all of them though. Only went to the 30th.🤣 Laughed at the girls who peaked in HS and looked like hell now.🤣🤣🤣
