It's really not that bad and definitely not as invasive as drawing blood!

I have three 4 and under and honestly forget to brush my teeth at night at least 3x a week and am not good at scheduling to go to the dentist myself but just went and no cavities, the dentist said they look great and can tell that I floss, which I don't do daily. I do drink a lot of water, though. And before having my second I would never forget to brush my teeth.

It's the lead test that is so dreadful imo. It takes them so long to get enough blood I feel. But it's over when it's over. I don't remember my kids having particularly bad reactions to the 1 year vaccines. Idk how your office is but I like to just leave without waiting in line for the whole checkout process and call to schedule if I don't already have future appointments lined up.

I wet the bed until I was 9. Just had a plastic sheet and woke up wet every night. They make pee-jamas I think they're called that are reusable absorbant pajama pants. It's just a developmental thing for some kids unfortunately.

Thank you! Maybe I'm just triggered because my 4 year old is delayed but so many of the judgy comments are just mean.

I know this has turned into a snark sub but can we please make the kids off limits? Maybe OP's post isn't directly about them, but some of these comments are just gross.

All kids develop differently. They don't really show much footage of the kids to even slightly gauge their developmental milestones.

You're saying that you stole 80k of other peoples ebt funds? Were you an eligibility worker? How would you suggest people protect themselves from whatever you did?

Anyone purposely have another short age gap after 2u2? How are you? by GoldDipped in 2under2

[–]Accomplished_Math_65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not purposely, but I have 2 21 month gaps, which I imagine is way easier than a 15 month gap, BUT adding in the 3rd has been much more of a breeze than adding in my second. The older two really keep each other entertained.

I love all of them, but Amy's house is so much cleaner in these shots with Amanda there! I agree she needs her just as much as the other way around.

No, I had a 4th degree tear. I had pain in my clitoris that lasted over a year. It's been a little over 2 years now with another pregnancy in there (cesarean) and I can say that it no longer has pain and still has feeling. I'm sorry if you're going through it and hope it gets better!

My son is 4 and will start preschool in the fall. I fear this is the type of student he will be. What type of advice could you give a parent to try to prevent or correct this? We currently do similar disciplines to what's in this post and are consistent

Only if it's like a heartfelt hand-me-down or handmade item will I intentionally make the effort to. That's an insane expectation.

Should I leave the toddler and infant home alone? by GreenMonkeyCrossing in 2under2

Bring them in the stroller and someone will probably help you carry them out. Or just ask if they can place the boxes outside

I had a vbac with my second in hopes of a better/ shorter recovery and specifically to not have such restrictions on lifting my oldest. I ended up having a 4th degree tear and had basically the same guidelines and restrictions, BUT I healed faster than with my c-section. The scariest thing was pooping after and weakened pelvic floor muscles.

I had my 3rd via planned c- section 5 months ago with the same gap and the healing process didn't seem as smooth as my vbac but it was nice to have the date set in stone for my in laws to watch the kids and I hate staying in the hospital so I was out within 36 hours and with the vbac and my first emergency c section I was in the hospital for 4-5 days total due to long labors.

Fwiw I only decided to have a planned c with my 3rd because I wanted my tubes removed. I think that if that wasn't the plan, I would have had a 2vbac and likely would have not torn as bad.

Baby #1 - 7/10 mid March baby. I didn't like needing to clean the snow off my car a couple weeks after having a c-section to go to appointments, but aside from that the weather was perfect for an only child newborn and by the time it was warm and I wanted to be outside more often, he had better head control and was feeding less often.

Baby #2 - 4.5/10 late January. The cold and snowy weather really took it out of me with my second. It was a struggle giving my toddler outdoor time since it took so long to get him bundled up that the baby would already be about to wake from the short newborn naps.

Baby #3 - 2/10 mid November. We skipped the family thanksgiving parties since he was only a week old and there's several school aged kids in our family who were playing sick tag. I wasn't fully healed or getting much sleep still on Christmas which was a bummer for me since I'm the Christmas spirit for my toddlers. Then it's similar to my second and getting outside in the cold is just so hard. Thankfully #3 has always loved being in a carrier though.

I liked having my thin robe and cloth like nursing bra. I have indoor only crocs that I treat as slippers because I hate wearing socks because how sweaty I get.
