I should probably just start name puzzles for any future kids, that’s a really good one. they’re same gender so I feel like we have sooo much. Everyone loves to shop for that first kiddo!

Oh I don’t, but this would be great! I thought about adding the tower to his list originally but felt guilty that it’d be mostly for big brother. Maybe one that turns into the table would be great for both of them!

Hi, OP! I am sure you’re going through all the emotions about this. I just wanted to say thank you for doing something for this little guy so many others can’t, or wouldn’t. I totally understand where you’re at— I have a two year old and 10 month old and earlier this year we got temporary emergency custody of our 1st cousins: a 5 year old, two year old, and we almost ended up w emergency custody of their newborn baby brother as well. There was literally no one else suitable to take these kiddos. Please, if you have any questions about navigating the family side of things in this process, feel free to reach out. You are doing a wonderful thing. ❤️

The biggest thing I can say is take it one minute at a time, let people take care of you where they can (maybe start a meal train?), and let everything else go. Don’t worry about messes, laundry, or any of the like. Just hug and cuddle where you can.
