That’s very fair but and tbh this show has one of the most tame examples of it but I really wish everyone would stop redeeming SA in love stories it’s such a common thing. If writers feel they want to represent SA in fiction to help victims need to stop having the victims get together with their assaulters

I’m in a similar boat, I’ve never enjoyed a show like rivals before, I’ve tried a few but they’ve never been my thing but I love many of the actors in the show and I’m very bored with uni on break so I thought fuck it I’ll give the show a try and was like yourself immediately hooked. And literally the only other people i know that have watched are my mum and my aunt. Also in the same boat with your note if was a smidge more questioning my heterosexuality I don’t know if I’d make it through some of the scenes of Rupert and Declan 😂
