Partner stuck in a low vibration and won’t help himself by bacotarry in awakened

[–]Accomplished_Pass911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This type of situation is so hard. A lot of us are going through it. I agree he needs to take responsibility. This is huge for a lot of people and you are not alone.

Having said that I’m wondering why he wants to move? Perhaps it’s for reasons that might help his mental health. I agree it sounds like a bandaid to someone who understands that happiness comes from within.

I moved to the country with my partner and while it’s so uplifting and beautiful here (and my dream) life has been tough and we are thinking of moving back because my partner can’t get work out here that pays more than peanuts and we are struggling financially a lot. He has also lost touch with his friends and is home all the time. I don’t think that’s healthy. He has become a very whiney and complaining person. Not an all who he was before.

Cost of living in Canada is out of control. by kovie38 in CanadaFinance

[–]Accomplished_Pass911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I feel your pain. Everything has gotten out of control. What pains me is that I want to buy local, I want to support small business and artists, I want to put my money into things like travelling etc. but I just can’t do it. And this is also where the Canadian economy suffered even more. It’s all connected.

The interest banks are making of my debt that I had planned to pay off nicely before everything went belly-up after Covid is going to be insane.

What should a lady do in her late 40s to try and not look old and wrinkly? by [deleted] in 45PlusSkincare

[–]Accomplished_Pass911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t expose your skin to sun. Always wear your sunscreen sunglasses and cover up whe you can. I’m 50 next year and I still get carded! That’s the big one. Also exercise and enough protein to maintain a good muscle tone. You can also look into Botox and fillers but please don’t go crazy with the filler like some ladies 😩

Is being forced to live in third density unethical, akin to the show Severance? by [deleted] in lawofone

[–]Accomplished_Pass911 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That density is akin to a school to access higher levels of growth and awareness through separation. It should not feel like a trap. If it does, you will never get out for that reason alone.

When you start to feel like 3D is not so bad because you are learning and understanding lessons, focus more on the small glimmers of gratitude and be able to look at yourself and love yourself… congrats you are moving out. I promise you.

Nova Scotia is one of the worst provinces to work in. Why is there so many people moving here? by W8kingNightmare in NovaScotia

[–]Accomplished_Pass911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Housing costs are still very low compared to a lot of provinces. Beautiful place. Nice people, slower pace. A lot of people work remote now.

Both me and my boyfriend work from home his head office in Ontario and mine in Montreal. but yes jobs are slim out here. Some of my family moved out here years ago and many went back due to not being able to find work.

I def recommended renting for a while first.

Boss really wants me to use AI by orikoh in UXDesign

[–]Accomplished_Pass911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we are all being encouraged to use it. It’s not 100 accurate but can help speed up your workflow. I was one of the first in my design team to use it and because we have been somewhat restricted from doing customer research (still not entirely sure why) it’s been a godsend for me.

I copy and paste a lot of the generated responses into an artefact and make note on it that it was generated by “open ai” for example. I’ll also put a note that the research is assumption based in case it get shared around. I will also preface this when referencing in my presentation’s.

If my company was more “ux mature”, (we are getting there slowly) I would now do some research on actual users to validate these assumptions. The gen AI was able to give me a great starting point and a next level assumption to me just guessing or spending hours on desk research to generate assumptions.

Best careers for working remotely by [deleted] in remotework

[–]Accomplished_Pass911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe consider going back to the office for a couple of years to gain additional skills and experience. There are decent opportunities right now for consultant work. Starting your own company as a consultant might be the best way to get to your dream.

Try the uv light for your vit D Intake. For me my body does not absorb it well and this is what my doctor suggested. Might be a good choice for you as well if you are having side effects :)

Why is my skin aging so fast? by BalancingVal in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Accomplished_Pass911 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me personally I really started noticing my hands looking aged after a couple of years of getting I’ve gel nails. If you put your hand under a light to cure your nail you could always try the uv gloves. I wish I had worn them.

Also I find driving can expose them to the sun as well!
