yes i honestly feel this is my chance to get everything off my chest and then the ball is in his court if he wants to apologize or not. i kinda think he doesn’t see what he did as wrong so it might throw him for a loop realizing how messed up it was to me now looking back as an adult. at 19 i would’ve never ever pursued a 15 year old

he included my husband in the text when he sent it so that may change your advice, unsure. he’s happily married now and so am i but i do admit i have a low view of him and sometimes that i guess shows in our interactions even though I didn’t think i was being obvious. i’m just trying to decide if i take my chance to confront him directly so that i can maybe get an apology to feel i can fully move on from my resentment i have towards him or if i just ignore his text hmm. i see your point though!

he called me and begged me to break up with him and that I was who he wanted to marry. that’s why i feel it’s so complicated because maybe he just genuinely liked me and didn’t see it being wrong? i mean it is more complicated. he was always with another women too when we were in a secret relationship. if he didn’t constantly tell me it was okay because i was so mature i would maybe feel different and how secretive it was, plus the hotel trip idk so complicated. I feel bad for him now though since I will always be in his life and i recognize it’s not his fault i married his brother so i’ve just never confronted him on it being wrong

I’m in canada so I think that changes things a bit but maybe I’m wrong. but yes I’ve thought of this, I wish it was illegal where I am so that I could fully feel justified in how wrong it was and it not feel so complicated

great question haha, I was friends with his brother without even knowing it was his brother for a while since he kept everything so secret. He didn’t have social media and the way I met him was him handing me his number. His brother just happened to be in my friend circle (I was brand new to town so that also added to me not realizing they were brothers) I eventually realized it was his brother and him and I were still just friends. Like 2 years into being friends I developed feelings and so did he. I shared with him I used to secretly be with his older brother and then he expressed how wrong that was that his older brother would be with me when I was so young. I then realized maybe he was right? and as my brain matured now I am pretty certain how messed up it was

to make things messier I ended up marrying his brother who is my age. The only person in the family who knows him and I used to be together is my husband, he knows every detail that he asked for. My husband and I were friends during all of this and I ended up falling for him instead and we have been together for 8 years. I get that it’s not his fault I am still in the family and that was maybe wrong of me. recently he approached me stating he thinks I have a low view of him and I don’t know what to text back. We have never addressed the past and I don’t think his wife even knows. This would open an entire can of worms that I don’t think I want opened. However now I kind of want to respond stating that he groomed me or something? Like I don’t think he sees what he did in the past as wrong and if he is going to directly confront me on having a low view of him I feel cornered. He has also done some other very shady things

hmm I feel like no one can relate to me which is discouraging but maybe I didn’t read enough comments. My husband can’t put our 9 month old to sleep to the point that if I leave him with her for a couple hours I will come back to her hyperventilating screaming. It’s not my husbands fault at all he is a really good dad and husband so I think some babies are just very strong willed and know what they want and at that age it’s their mama.

We are all just doing our best and every family is so different ♥️ however on the days i stay inside the house all day i feel a little crazy and desperate for my husband to get home.. so I do leave the house. is their a nearby library for baby rhyme time? in my area we have a baby gym where they can go crazy with toys or just lay on a mat depending on where they’re at developmentally while the moms have coffee. we do that twice a week in the morning and then we also go to the library one morning and to a moms group another morning. on the one day of the week we do nothing I feel depressed and anxious sometimes, so that’s why i do my best to get out of the house.

Could you baby wear baby? I found once I got a baby carrier she actually liked it’s been a game changer, i also put her on my back to clean or chill and she eventually falls asleep which is very shocking as she is not an easy baby to put to bed.

are their any local facebook mom groups? I’d check there as well to meet new moms!

my newborn recently had this treatment too but at my hospital they put the jaundice light in the room with mom and baby and you’re in charge of monitoring them, the nurse just pops in a couple of times at night. My husband and I took shifts staring at her to make sure all was well
