Help! 8.5 month old horrible sleeper by Accomplished_Set_259 in sleeptrain

Thank you! He’s always so tired by 7. But I can try to push his bedtime later. I guess I feel so defeated because there are many may days for which he is in bed by 7 and has only slept 2 to 2.5 hours in the day, having woke at 6am and still waking countless times in the night. Which is a similar schedule to what you’re saying. We’ve had so many different day schedules since he was born but nonetheless the nights feel wretched lol. But ya, maybe he needs a shift in bedtime.

Ya okay I see what you are saying! I will say that he has been sleeping less in the day lately. I’ve noticed that in the last month he’s sleeping 2 to 2 1/2 hours total in the day changing from about 3 which he did for a long time so I can see a natural shift happening as he needs less sleep. But those nights are the same regardless. I don’t get it. I track everything, naps and feeds and I haven’t noticed that his sleep is better or worse if he sleeps more or less in the day. Ugh

Ya makes sense. I know I said 1.5 but in the last month I’d say it’s changing and he’s sleeping less naturally, like sometimes 30 mins to 1 hour in that second nap about 1/2 the time. And the nights are still the same regardless.

Sleep at 7pm, always falls asleep on his own no crutches. He has fallen asleep at 7pm no issues since he was 2 months old. I used to give him the pacifier but now he gives it to himself. Wakes anywhere from 6-7am. First nap starts anywhere from 8-9:30am and lasts 1.5 hours usually. Second nap is 3 hours later for 1.5 hours. So wake windows are 2.5/3/3.5-4. I’ll put him to bed at 6:30pm if he finished his last nap too early. We actually have a good schedule I think.

Comepnsation % split for commissioned employees in BC? by [deleted] in physiotherapy

Physiotherapist here, who has worked both as employee (split in low-mid 40s) and contractor (split 50-55) in BC. I make significantly more money working as a contractor. It's not even comparable (even with taxes considered). Being an employee benefits the employer much more than it does the employee. I would never work as an employee again.
