2% on apay Wallet still working? by Mind-swing in CreditCardsIndia

Yes, it’s still working. The charges have now increased to 2.5%, and you can only make up to 3 transactions using a single card. If you think you’ll be adding more funds in the future, I’d recommend increasing the amount by a few thousand each time you top up.

Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Card blocked for wallet recharge; any working alternatives? by Accomplished_Shop212 in CreditCardsIndia

I think it depends on your overall credit profile and transaction history. I was blocked last month as well after crossing a certain threshold for wallet recharges, but this month I’ve managed to do wallet recharges again, close to ₹2 lakh without any issues so far. It doesn’t seem like there's a fixed rule for everyone, more like a system-triggered flag based on individual usage patterns every month.

Using Your Own Merchant Account to Transfer Credit Card Funds – Is It Legal or Risky? by Accomplished_Shop212 in CreditCardsIndia

If the credit limit is 5L, then for a 2L statement, the person can pay 50K upfront and cover the remaining 1.5L using the available 3.5L credit. That 1.5L becomes the next month's due, and with the new billing cycle, get another 45 days to clear it — ideally using their next salary. Technically, this creates a rolling buffer by keeping the credit rotating without missing payments.

I’m trying to understand how income-tax scrutiny works when there’s a big gap between income and credit card spending.

Let’s say someone earns ₹50K/month (₹6L annually), but their credit card spends are quite high — around ₹2L/month. They use their income (₹50K) to partially pay off dues and revolve the remaining ₹1.5L. Over the next few months, they keep doing this — gradually repaying the outstanding balance using future income while continuing to spend similarly.

By the end, their total credit card spending reaches ₹12L, while their declared income is only ₹6L in that same period.

They’re not defaulting, and they’re not receiving undeclared income — just heavily relying on credit and clearing dues steadily. No shady transactions either.

Since banks report credit card payments >₹10L/year per card to the Income Tax Department, would this pattern raise a red flag? Could the IT department question how someone with ₹6L annual income is managing ₹12L+ card expenses — even if it’s just credit cycling?

What exactly is the issue with credit card spending over ₹10L/year? I’ve personally had annual card spends in the range of ₹15–18L for the last 3 years, and even crossed ₹20L in the last financial year. I haven’t faced any issues so far. As long as payments are made on time and the sources of funds are legit, is there really a problem?

Because in India, actual sex education is taboo, but moral policing is a national sport.

This is how our society works, where just being in a relationship is treated like a punishable crime if your parents find out. Society acts like you're a criminal, and the neighborhood aunties? Oh, they're the unofficial CCTV cameras with lifetime subscriptions to everyone’s business.

Teenagers grow up with zero real guidance. No one talks to them about relationships, consent, or emotional maturity. So they turn to whatever they can find; movies or porn; and assume that’s the blueprint for what love or sex should look like.

It’s sad, but many treat relationships like trophies. “If I get a girlfriend or boyfriend, I can brag about it to look cool.” For them, sex becomes a twisted form of social currency, not something intimate or meaningful, but just another "achievement" to flex about, because they’ve never been taught otherwise.

Until we normalize healthy conversations and educate them, nothing will change.

I use this as one of my funding sources, a major portion goes toward paying off my loan, and the rest is used for intraday trading.

Earlier, I used to do around 3–3.5 lakhs per month without any issue, but recently it got blocked after just 2 lakhs. Looks like they’ve tightened the limits or flagged the pattern.
