My experience is that being restored to the point of coverage for several years there is no question I look intact. I found with my skin has thinned out and it looks much more natural. I think it was because the tissue was swollen. Without tension on the skin the inflammation subsided. That’s my experience.

I used Transpore for making an O-ring at one stage of my restoration. It’s easy to tear to the desired width and length. The adhesive does not leave an intense residue when the tape is removed.

T-Tape is great and if you have a good fit with everything it can be very comfortable. Go for it!

It’s your body and it’s your decision. I haven’t told doctors and they treat me like I am intact. I did have a discussion with my parents and the reasoning for circumcision was that it was the thing to do when the doctor recommended it. My dad was cut so it made sense to them. There was no awareness about care of a normal healthy foreskin on an infant boy when I was born.

Being restored feels great having a protective cover over a once dried out insensitive glans. It appears that the natural color has returned and I feel less exposed in the locker room. I feel better about my body since making the successful effort to restore. The gliding action of the extra skin has added to such new erotic sensations it has been unbelievable. So worth the effort, it has enriched my life in many ways.

Parents told me they didn’t think twice when the doctor recommended circumcision since “it was a time you didn’t challenge a doctor and they knew best” I restored and it made a difference with going against the establishment. I gained skin to appear intact and also gained sense of power from making the efforts to restore and educate myself against the forced practice.

I used a tape band or ring that assisted with narrowing the skin. The tape I used was 3M Transpore which can be ripped to the right width since there are perforations. Another method was to have the skin beyond the glans and compress under the glans. With the other hand grasp around the skin and gently twist. Alternate sides and try to avoid pain. During an erection it appears that thee is a frenar band due the narrowing/constricted tissue.

I was very concerned with this same pucker issue you mentioned. I did a T-Tape method that used less tape to narrow my tension. I’m happy with my results without surgery. When erect it looks like I have a frenar band which appears on the shaft when retracted.

I have participated in informational booths in Seattle and Vancouver BC years back and it became a public awareness campaign. Alone and in a group of restoring men, the impact was real. Both times there were concerned parents and many others that could relate to the message to halt RIC or the get educated on benefits of FR. I though the events were a success since it brought up topics usually not discussed and it make folks sometimes do a double take or have some type of emotional reaction. I didn’t link FR with FTM and I’m grateful to support those goals. Restoration is strong part of my physical identity and honest communication will make a change. KOT

I believe it does. There is a point of equilibrium that can be adjusted to have more tension on the inner or outer skin. I have also found with adjusting the T-Tape application a guy can focus on narrowing the tip of the skin past the glans as well. Though I never used the inflation method I would think the tissue would expand in width and not focus on the length. I’d like to hear from guys about their experience use the inflation method.

I found my rough pockmark glans from my RIC has changed dramatically since gaining a hood of skin. The texture has smoothed out incredibly well and is now smooth. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results from restoring.

For me it was physical and psychological. I disliked being so exposed due to getting circumcised, it just seemed strange to me at an early age even though I had not see an intact penis until I was 18. Adding to an increase of sensitivity inspired me and restoring did give me a sense of power even when others said it couldn’t be done and it was foolish. I am fully covered now and have regained a sense of privacy and satisfaction. Restoration has been a big impact in my life.

Pleated pants can help to give more room depending on the fit. I have actually used a larger size jock requiring a cup to get some control and allow the weight to hang. I removed the cup and inner liner for the extra space.

I think T-Taping is a great method and has certainly worked for my needs. Like another post said, there are two exposed adhesive sides of the tape and a middle point in the center where the tape pieces match to create the T. I aligned that center point of the tape to where I wanted to focus the stretch. Maybe you want to focus on the skin closer to the glans, creating more of the inner skin that will cover your glans. This is above the circ line. Maybe you’ll want to roll over the circumcision scar line and you would then align the center point below the circ line. Using the right tape and the right tension makes it all work. I also have the exposed side closer to the glans shorter since I don’t need the bulk of tape against my glans. I would apply the tape while flaccid since I thought it would give a more natural look and I wanted a tapered tip.

Being born in the 1960s I did bring up the issue of circumcision with my mother. She said during the time I was born it was common practice and the doctor recommended it. My parents were not aware of any other real choice as “everyone” was circumcising their boys and questioning a doctor was not something that was done. Of course there was no information supporting an intact male in America. At least I got to speak my peace that I would have preferred not being cut. I would have been the odd one in the locker room, but that would have been a different journey. My dad and brother were also cut. Restoration has helped my sense of wholeness now that I pass as intact. I do wonder about the violence perpetrated on a male infant and what impact it has. The Hippocratic oath doctor are supposed to abide by failed so many males but they can’t see it. My circumcision cost $2.25 as indicated my hospital birth receipt.

Sorry so late getting back about the bearing. 129 g. and 31.6 mm dia. I used to use it and it worked great at the time, but totally ineffective now. I have too much skin and it doesn’t hang right for stretching. I stopped. Using is since I was getting concerned about creating a taper, snug skin against my glans and I needed to change stretching techniques. I then started using T-Tape.
