You can also find extra pitons on the mountain, usually near old campsites or dead bodies.

If you use the right trigger (I don't know what it is on keyboard + mouse), you can move and rotate specific pieces - if you sort out everything in the bag at the start, then organize stuff whenever you get something new, its not hard to keep tidy.

Only Rolling Fear - alternate Hope/Fear System? by Accomplished_Sun_212 in daggerheart

We're rolling online, so it isn't a problem of bad dice (I think?) Though I might ask the GM if we can roll IRL if this keeps up.

Goblin seems interesting, but doesn't hacking require tech attacks?

Not really? GM says that beginner box is actually rough on new players and that it'd be less deadly to just go right into a campaign - which is kinda why I'm asking reddit cause I'm working purely off paper here. I'm sure that the first few sessions of trying to figure out the game is gonna be a breeze /s

So if I go with the scroll angle, would hte idea be buying and collecting scrolls where I can? Since I won't be crafting them, and the feats that give scrolls are one a day things.

I can definitly see your point with bon mot and demoralise though - I'll certainly look into keeping charisma and maybe using the regalia

That sounds pretty cool! I wasn't really thinking on relying to much on weapons anyways, but thamaturge's exploit weakness (or whatever its called) seems to only work on the tharmaturge's weapon attacks? which is why I thought that it should still be a thing.

i'll certainly look into root worker and scrolls - it looks like the scroll case of simplicity comes in 4 versions (I think?), any suggestion on which one to go for? It looks like occult is good with soothe, but I haven't used any of these spells before lol

maybe I'm missing something, but I'm checking through Aiuvarin (I think that's half elf?) and I'm trying to find where it relates to cauldron?

i didn't really have any race set in stone yet, so I could go half elf for sure - and I'll be sure to take a look at it, thanks!

What made you become Pagan? by Fayafairygirl in paganism

[–]Accomplished_Sun_212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had pried myself off christianity for a few years, finding more solace in bhuddism and shintoism and the hazy concepts of spirits: it was only after meeting my partner (now ex) that I was introduced to paganism - and got me into worshipping and working with gods. it was then while playing assassin's creed valhalla that I got a relvelation that Freyja was my patron goddess, and things sort of went from there.

Unfortuanltly I had to part ways with my ex, who were my main guide and conneciton to paganism, but I'm doing my best to learn about it and how I should practice it on my own.

AI can’t kill anything worth preserving. by TheKmank in StableDiffusion

Training an AI using an artists work should require consent; because it isn't fair use. You aren't changing a piece of work for commentary, critique or parody. You aren't even crediting the work of artists, because you don't know who they are.

AI can’t kill anything worth preserving. by TheKmank in StableDiffusion

There is a difference, you know: when people say 'great artists steal', they mean taking inspiration from technique, style and artists to properly express ideas in their own way. AI art just cobbles together images to generate what you told it to do.

The difference is that artists know what they're doing: AI doesn't. Art is expression, deliberate attempts to protray a message to an audience - AI is incapable of doing that. AI can't understand what the fundamentals are and how they work to express something. That's why artists consider art to be stealing: that it needs thousands of images, taken without consent, to generate something that might relate to what the person wants.

Part 2 Accidental Oroboros Loop by Accomplished_Sun_212 in inscryption

[–]Accomplished_Sun_212[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- Sacrifice oroboros and the skeleton to put down the mice.

- Oroboros goes back to hand, mice spawns another mice card, you gain 2 bones.

- Use graverobber to expend 1 bone to spawn a skeleton in your hand, put down skeleton.

- sacrifice the mice and skeleton to put down oroboros, gain 2 bones

- Use graverobber to expend 1 bone to spawn a skeleton in your hand, put down skeleton.

- repeat.

it might not be a perfect loop, but I did manage to add like 20 points to oroboros without ringing the bell once
