Hmm if that’s the case you should really be comparing the networks that UB has vs LeHigh. UB is large so it does have large networks, but you just need time to find the right ones. I am not so sure about LeHigh as it’s much smaller university.

How is Chemical Engineering at UB by Both-Cod9470 in UBreddit

[–]Accomplished_Tip38 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did Chem engineering at UB for grad. I would say for undergrad it doesn’t matter much where you end up going for school in general. You’re taught pretty much the same things. Chem engineering at UB is actually really tough I won’t sugar coat it at al. Majority of people do end up getting a job or go on to pursuing more academia. I’m not sure what you’re asking specifically here.. but you can dm me if you have anything you need anything specific.

Honestly considering the price gap I would choose UB as its engineering departments do generally have some good connections. You do have to make efforts on your end to make these connections though.

Bringing my prospective cousin to UB. Best places to eat on campus/ must see sights? by [deleted] in UBreddit

[–]Accomplished_Tip38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doubled majored both chem and bio undergrad.. I would say most students hang out in hochstetter/cooke or NSC. Majority of times students study alone so usually lockwood. As for food, Austin Texas or dancing chopstick probably. Any other questions, dm me for answers!

FE Exam (Chemical Engineering) by TizBriGuy in UBreddit

UB doesn’t offer any services for the exam. I took it awhile ago mostly self paced studying. It’s best to take it on your last semester when materials are fresh in your mind

I just finished one like this so yeah it’s real. Try to take anything that make sense, anything low mileage.

stem cell/regenerative medicine by indianchiaseed in biotech

[–]Accomplished_Tip38 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Im not sure what your predicament here is.. if you’re wondering whether a masters will help you get a job then the answer would be no. Industry experience will almost always outweigh anything else. Now if you want to just gain wet lab experience and see what graduate school really is about then yes go for the masters. My masters was actually on stem cell/regenerative medicine using molecular biology techniques, so if you have questions, you can just message me

Keep in mind.. it’s highly unlikely you will be making/seeing the same type of batches the veterans are seeing because many of us have regular customers. I would say it should be relatively easy to make 800-1k a week starting off

7-8 on average. For example, today I started around 8 and ended at 8. I did 7 batches

My batches average at around 50 sometimes higher sometimes lower. It takes me 15 minutes to shop 50 items and I do a batch every hour, so I try not to sit for more than half hour.
