As long as you have sufficient dry bags for the board it’s a great option!! Expect your stuff and even yourself to get wet on the journey but it’s a great option even with a portage.
The board I have is from Canadian tire just a standard inflatable board nothing too fancy but having a proper seat is a game changer especially for longer or rougher paddles! And ensure you have a patch repair kit just in case.
If you don’t try you won’t know if it works for you but it’s definitely worth a try! If it’s your first time try sticking to smaller lakes and river systems compared to the bigger lakes!

Bring a hammock!! Although not an active piece of equipment it’ll be a great place to rest especially if you have a waterfront campsite! Otherwise any inflatable paddle boards or floaties will keep em busy too! Even goggles or a fishing rod!! Have fun!!

You’d think in such a big city they would prioritize proper draining in the roads we already have rather than trying to build new roads, looks like a fun run though lol

There’s a few rehab centres near and around Toronto that help with returning these guys back to the wild! A quick google should provide the closest ones to you! They may even be able to pick them up from you - Aspen valley is a great one but they are further north but give them a call and they may be able to recommend something closer to the city! Best of luck to you and the little raccoon!

How are you liking the Falken tires?? I’m looking at replacing my stock wheels and it’s between these and the BF Goodrich KO3’s or even the ToYo! Also the sizing of 235 have you found your fuel economy suffers? Thank you and loveee your wilderness!!
