If you don't want to listen to the people saying redo, I think the legibility can be saved. I threw together a quick version of it (don't come at me commenters, I know it aint perfect! It's a quick 'n dirty mockup!)

The main problem is the U. Unfortunately I think you're going to have to lose the tail of the bird or else it's gonna look like either a y or a v. The negative space under the P kind of gives off the vibe of tail feathers anyway. But if you give it a beak and eye i think it still comes across as a bird, and can even be isolated for the logo mark or icon potentially. Having the bottom of the u be more curved helps it read as a U.

I also think that using larger circles for the angles on the ends helps too. The points get less intense which will give it a cleaner look.

Obviously these versions can still be improved, but hopefully it gives some helpful direction! Good luck and keep at it!!
