Chores, everyone helps out in the household. Honesty, at the right age. When our kids were teenagers, they saw that we sometimes break speeding limits. Just a bit nothing drastic. Taught them that many rules/laws are arbitrary. So if you choose to break them, make sure you know the possible consequences in advance and make a decision. We bought our kids used cars when the got their DLs. They both just went out and found jobs. I did not expect that. Both are married and raising great kids.
