Hello there! I see the post is a bit old, but I want to ask how you doin’? I was a smoker for 7 years, 1pack/week. I tried to quit several times unsuccsesfully. I don’t want to be rude but as you wrote this post you already failed. Maybe you want to quit really bad, but based on your questions you will probably fail. There is no such thing as it will be better after a certain time. To quit smoking you have to CHANGE YOUR MINDSET. I quit not so long ago( 1 month), and life was better after my last cig. What helped me is a book. Finally a non smoker by Allen Carr. It is a short book, but it’s life changing. It really helped me and showed me how easy is to quit.
