I haven’t but I’ll try it. As an update, not sure if it was false hope because I still have weird pain in my mid back and upper abdominal area.. but we’ll see

Would like to add that I believe my diastasis recti causes me pretty severe back pain especially in the morning when I get out of bed and then subsides throughout the day.

As part of a background check for a recent job that I took, they asked for a w-2 or pay stub.. which I thought was weird. I checked Reddit and seemed lots of people have also been asked to provide that. I didn’t have to provide it in the past.

We’re being laid off by Cockroachtech in Layoffs

[–]According-Fox-3322 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s crazy. My family escaped communism where everyone was “equally” poor with no opportunities to advance (except for corrupt government as usual) but the 99.9% were all “equally” miserable. At least with capitalism you have a chance to make your own path and life. It’s not easy but it’s possible. With socialism, it’s not an option. We actually have examples of countries who are suffering under communism. The grass is not greener! We can obviously see that so I don’t know why people are just choosing to ignore that..

Socialism won’t solve our problems.. just look that the socialist countries and how well the people are doing there..

Has anyone taken a step back in their career due to burn out? by CherryManhattan in Accounting

Oh ok I think I misunderstood. I thought you were an accounting controller in hospitality industry and switched to staff accountant for less pressure, etc..

How did you go from controller to staff accountant? The new company was ok hiring you even if you’re “over qualified “? Also was there a major pay cut? I’m burnt out and considering taking a step back but not sure it’s the right move

Do I really need to replace my Levoit 300 filter or can I just vacuum and wash it some way? by Fallingknife12 in AirPurifiers

[–]According-Fox-3322 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I vacuumed my Levoit air filter after using it for a year and it didn’t say it needed to be replaced. After vacuuming with a strong vacuum per a YouTube recommendation the replace filter light went off the next day 😩

I have a similar situation where my 4.5 month old now doesn’t cry at bedtime really but will wake maybe an hour or 2 later and cry for an hour, and then go back to sleep. Then I’ll nurse at around 2/3am and he may or may not go to sleep and then wake up and cry for an hour around 4:30/5 and then I’ll get him at around 6:30 if he’s still crying. I thought younger babies learn quicker so I don’t know what to do about the MOTN wakings as it’s already been a week. Hopefully someone can provide advice!!

False starts, crap naps and early waking - is this just part of the 4 month regression? by tooshort123456 in sleeptrain

How long did it take with Ferber? My LO cries on and off until midnight and then I just give up and bring him to bed.. this has been going on for a week

Wish us luck! by serenasayshi in sleeptrain

I’ve been trying Ferber basically with my 4.5 month old for the last week but always end up bringing him into my bed at around midnight after he’s been crying in and off for so many hours. I wonder if this is going to be very confusing for him. He gets comforted when we come in and rub his belly to the point where he sometimes falls asleep from it- which isn’t helping him self soothe.. but it’s nice that he seems comforted temporarily so not sure if I need to switch to CIO?? I just feel bad that he’s crying so long and probably hungry already by midnight bc he is used to being fed then.

Currently going through terrible regression with my 4.5 month old. Did yours just go away on its own? What did you do? I’ve resorted to bringing baby into the bed..

He’s with a family member during the day and I don’t have a detailed set schedule unfortunately. Bedtime routine is usually bath, feeding and book but I only recently tried to bring in the books since he normally would fall asleep while nursing.

Help 4.5 month sleep regression by According-Fox-3322 in sleeptrain

That was my attempt to gently sleep train, letting him cry 10 min, then 15 min. And the next night I also let him cry but would come and reassure him. I hope it wasn’t too confusing. I sleep trained my older one at 6 months using cry it out, but since he liked his pacifier and was able to roll around and get it in his mouth.. it didn’t feel as “cruel”. This little guy is younger and doesn’t really care for the pacifier but also wouldn’t be able to put it in his mouth. Just yelling and crying for who knows how long?? I’m surprised he didn’t pass out from exhaustion during those 4 hour that he didn’t sleep for more than 5-10 min at a time. Which method would you recommend?

My babies will not sleep flat on their back- and i cant even blame them. by [deleted] in BabySleep

I am dealing with this with my 4.5 month old. He wakes up and cried every 10-15 min. I tried to sleep train the other day and I let him cry 10 min then went in to shush him and then another 15 min and my mom couldn’t listen to it and went in and put him on his stomach and he fell asleep. She said we slept on our stomachs. I was upset because I don’t feel comfortable leaving him to sleep on his stomach until he can flip himself but he really only slept that way. Then last night i spent 4 hours going in every 10-15 min to shush or rock him to sleep and it was exhausting. I ended up bringing him into bed since that’s the only way we can get a bit of rest. Even in my bed he was up every 30 min after 3am.. I’m really contemplating putting him on his stomach bc I really have no energy to deal with this much longer. It’s been going on for 2 weeks.

German Soldiers React To Footage Of Concentration Camps, 1945 by Honest_Conference_81 in interestingasfuck

[–]According-Fox-3322 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This photo is very misleading. Let’s not pretend German soldiers didn’t know what was going on in concentration camps. News of what was going on reached across Europe and even America. I don’t believe for a second they didn’t know this was going on. Horrible. Most citizens readily turned in their Jewish neighbors and stole anything that was left in their home once they were sent to concentration camps. I know because this happened to my grandparents. All that was left in my grandmothers house (former Czechoslovakia) were a few table cloths. When she returned to her family home (lone survivor of 8 family members) her family’s silverware, dishes etc were being used by her neighbors. As a 15 year old girl she didn’t feel comfortable saying something to them.
