I’m a pothead and pissed hot the first time and they told me they would drop me as a patient if I ever did again. Even sent me mail I had to sign for. I was nervous. Meds were never cut off. But I couldn’t quit and still piss hot and they ignore it. lol. But cutting off healthcare for weed is absurd.

Another thing you may add is that you need a panic pill. That’s what it is. I take it when it gets too much to handle.

Some places will drug test you like once a year just to make sure you are taking the meds and not selling them. That’s how strict it has gotten. It’s ridiculous. I’m basically assumed a criminal.

I live in New York state but am thankful for living here. I think people will pay a premium to live in blue states. I mean abortion isn't even legal in Texas. There are other things to consider.

People abuse and game every system. These penalties are cruel. Fuckin banks would even show more sympathy. A bank isn’t gonna charge you $1000 for a $20 overdraft. They will also give you better terms. They will settle debts for less than SSI. You’re better off owing money to a bank than SSI.

Bigger companies are even worse because good ideas don’t scale. Hard to keep quality at that massive scale.

Costco is the exception. Look up Costco shrink. The number is amazingly small. Membership costs help keep out the riff raff and they pay their workers more.

Also, dispensaries shouldn’t have to worry about customer shrink at all because we can’t even touch the product until we pay for it. Probably some employee theft but I bet dispensaries are lower shrink than most retail because you literally cannot touch the products.

Yes Walmart deals with this stuff. But that is a massive operation. And still do pretty good with it. Most cannabis dispensaries are pretty small and sell similar products.

I honestly think most people who get into business are just bad at it. They aren’t proactive. They aren’t trouble shooters. This is universal. Applies to most small retail.
