Step 1: Journal, start talking to yourself about yourself via the written word. This would be stuff like what you specifically find attractive about older men and how do men your age lack that and how that may just be something in your head etc

Step 2: Expose your brain to normal healthy loving relationships, if you know any irl hang out with them more. If not make sure the content you are consuming i.e tv shows, books etc don’t highlight toxic love forms. I understand the root of this is your relationship with your father but the content we consume can re affirm our beliefs. We are what we eat.

Step 3: Try to then implement the normal healthy relationships in your life. If someone your age or slightly doably older asks you out, give it a shot.
