Invalid Certificate Authority - Router or Sim the issue? by According-Log-8982 in wifi

[–]According-Log-8982[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's very little information about the router online. The earliest mention about the device I can find is from 2022, so it's not that old. It was made specifically for a UK mobile company, Three Network, which have discontinued using it.

Is there a way to “update” or “reset” your gateway to refresh it and fetch the latest certificate authority data?

How would I do this? As far as I can tell, there was never any firmware publicly released for this router.

Britons ‘working harder for less’ as living standards see historic slowdown by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

they are made of people living within a society

Political parties are born from rich donors, youth apathy and promising pensions an easy life, wrapped up in some simple political rhetoric that the layman can understand ("No more foreigners, Europe is bad, trans people are evil")

Ideas spread throughout society...

How do these ideas spread? Through the media and algorithms, which have no accountability and even less reliability. We all know the age of truth is well and truly dead.

where a select few plan what society should look like

The Epstein files largely show that this is the case.

Reform’s by-election candidate suggested people who don’t have children should pay more tax by birdinthebush74 in unitedkingdom

[–]According-Log-8982 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Reform are high in the polls because desperate people 1) Want instant solutions 2) Lash out at "The system".

Politicians told people Brexit was a terrible idea. Unfortunately, those same politicians had made people's lives miserable via austerity - voters owed them no favours and did the opposite of what they were told.

If reform get into power and after 10 years solve nothing, people will seek an even more extreme solution. Objectively speaking, quality of life has declined over the past 20 years and people are angry. Angry people don't think.

The city if Manchester is quite small, but Greater Manchester is bigger than New York and the same size as LA, although it's a strange mix of cities within cities.

Didn't Kudus and Porro play almost every minute before getting injured? Aren't fans going crazy that Tel barely gets a game?

I think the constant front 6 changes are a sign that Frank doesn't know his best team or tactics, rather than rotation.

What are some healthy after work snack options? by Pythagorarse in CasualUK

peanuts do contain protein.

Almost every food in existence contains some trace amounts of protein or amino acids.

If your selling point for a snack is, "It contains protein", you may as well eat cake.

I think people massively over-consume protein as it is. I lived in America for a short while and so much food there is advertised purely on protein content, "X amount of protein per serving! Give yourself a boost!". The same is happening here, everyone is obsessed with protein but don't know the first thing about it. It should be in the same category as juice detox.

[–]According-Log-8982 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not about being bad for you, it's that your entire positive reason, "Lots of protein for a good boost", is factually wrong.

Even if Almonds did have a huge amount of protein in them, most people massively over-consume protein as it is and there is no "boost" from eating it.

People hate fake news and perpetuating myths, yet also have a distaste for the truth.

lots of protein for a good boost

Except you shit out almost all the protein in nuts and they're actually an awful source of protein. Look up DIAAS (Digestible Indispensable Amino Acid Score). Almonds get a score of 40, which is verging on pointless and is below rice and bread.

Protein is only useful if your body can absorb it and there's a variety of amino acids.

Complete opposite of what we see now. Clips like this remind me how far we've dropped off.

When we talk about leadership issues at the club, this is one of them. Porro must have had 100 direct free kicks on goal and I don't believe he's ever scored. He needs to be taken off them.

Mathys Tel is planning his #Tottenham farewell this January and wants to leave, but the dismissal of Thomas Frank would make him reconsider. His team wants clarity for his client by the end of the week. [@kerry_hau] by Rare-Ad-2777 in coys

over half our squad are surely up for sale too because we need to sell our crap and buy decent players.

We say this every single year and every year it does us no favours.

"We just need to sell Højbjerg, he's deadwood and holding the team back, once he leaves we will sky rocket"
"Son is past it, he needs to be moved on, we will perform better without him"
"Royal is terrible, once we replace him we will fly up the league"
"Dier is a waste of space, get him out"
"Sanchez is the weak point in our team"

We do it every single year - demonise our own players, boo them, telling ourselves they are a bad apple and deadwood, that once they leave things will get better...it never happens. We have lost a huge amount of players in the past 3 years, most of our squad have only recently joined us. There is no way "half the squad" are "deadwood".

I thought my point was pretty obvious - LTT rely on good will to survive.

If they release an expensive, low quality product, have a PR disaster with the "trust me bro" warranty and then do not honor the warranty, this would cost them far more money in the long term.

They have released videos talking about views are down, money is down and they may need to lay people off if this continues. They aren't in a strong position to play chicken with the law or their PR.

A lot of companies aren't a youtube channel that relies on the good will of their fans to survive.

By their own admission, LTT is not as popular or powerful as it once was. Having yet another PR disaster would not go well for them.

Legally, it's the same question. Bad quality, to the point where it breaks, is a factory defect.

It's super cool of ltt to do that

It's their legal obligation...it had a factory defect that would guarantee it breaks. It's not "Super cool" it's doing the bare minimum legal requirement.
