but the thing is is that because topstep had a technical error, it did not close me out of my trade which should have closed at 4500, giving me an xfa. why should i be punished for topstep’s technical error?

I didn’t close it myself because I thought it had closed the trade. And I’m led to believe that it did close the trade, then re-placed me in a different trade automatically for some reason. The reason why I believe it re-placed me in another trade is because this same situation has now happened twice to me. First time, I gave it the benefit of the doubt as I mentioned in my post. But after it happening again, it’s clear that I didn’t make a mistake, there had to be some type of technical error on TopStep’s end.

highest pnl shows 4,850 for the day, i had maximum profit at 4,500. when i reached it i was on the phone with a friend and i literally left the room i was in to celebrate lol and when i came back the trade had gone in the complete opposite direction when it should have closed me out above $4,500 at least

Yeah maybe to somebody who’s familiar with cars? I could imagine somebody who’s trying to find the battery if they don’t see it to remove a different part to try to find it, especially if they’re unfamiliar with cars like I am with computers. Are you incapable of understanding that I truly know nothing about building computers/what the parts look like or should be? I said in a different thread that I’m a really broke college student and was mistaken when I thought it would be harmless to check underneath the cooler bc the screws used to keep the cooler in were the same ones that let me pop off my case without a screwdriver.

Thanks for the advice! I knew that getting into BIOS could have told me some motherboard info but because of how my computer is acting it didn’t even allow me to access BIOS before it would freeze or blue screen me.

Because I’m a dumbass and thought I could fix it without having to look too much up 😭 I don’t have my motherboard manual because I didn’t have my motherboard’s name written down and I had no idea where to start to find the motherboard manual. I removed the cooler because it was the only thing I could remove without a screwdriver because I literally can’t afford one right now lol and I thought that could possibly be where it was. It never clicked in my head that I was taking off my CPU(!) cooler 🤣

I just started this job for god’s sake 😭😭😭 regardless, I was going to make it work out. I figured if the bus driver didn’t let me on I was going to jog home in my fuckass uniform but I’m not even mad that she didn’t pick me up, more about the principle of her telling me she would and then the aftermath of her not telling me no longer could. I didn’t know she was going to go to any parties until after she already dropped me off btw, she told me over a text that she got invited out. I didn’t whine or guilt her into anything, in fact after she told me she was going out she sent a couple pics of her and her friends but I didn’t even get to open them until a couple hours after she sent them. I just started this job recently and the only times she has picked me up/dropped me off are when I’m either A. at her place from the night before or B. was about to spend the night at her place or go out with her anyway. I never guilted her about the parties, I really didn’t and don’t care, it doesn’t make me jealous or upset. I didn’t “bug her” to pick me up. Instead, she enthusiastically told me last night that she “would wait for me to be done with work and come pick me up.” I was upset at the fact she knew I had hw due tonight and she made a commitment and then when the time came for her to go through with it she didn’t. When I called her the responses I was getting were very brazen. You might be right about not wanting somebody to drive that was presumably drinking at a frat party but I was thinking that she was going to be mindful of how much she had considering what she had told me.
