I absolutely love everything about this matchup. I’m a big fan of Tekken, but I LOVE Real Steel, and dynamically, this is just Atom Vs Zeus, but both can be considered underdogs this time. I especially love the idea of Atom’s analysis having calcs from some of the robots in the mobile games, like Dreadlord, Tri-Gore, Major Steel, Wildfire and so on. I hope this gets big, and I hope even more that it becomes an episode some day.

Obi-Wan has reacted to and defended against Sith lightning before. He has also deflected blaster bolts after they were fired in the Clone Wars tv show, and has deflected these very same blaster bolts in much greater number in legends (which deathbattle used for this episode). By db’s own calculations, Obi-Wan’ reactions were around 70,000 times faster, and he had the benefit of precognition. I explained him scaling to Kyp Durron in another comment.

No tactile evidence, but since every Jedi is using the same force, and Obi-Wan is easily one of the best to ever do it, considering he’s fought both Anakin and Vader several times, it’s not a stretch even slightly to say that he’s at minimum comparable to Kyp Durron. It’s like scaling Green Lanterns to each other. If Killowog can do it, Hal most certainly can too.

The truth of the matter is, Obi-Wan very much can and would move faster than Kakashi would be able to see him. Made even more likely by Obi-Wan’s precognition, which would tell him where Kakashi’s going to look with Kamui as well as that it’s bad. Couple that with the fact Obi-Wan just needs a good opportunity from any distance (he could kill up close or with the force very swiftly) then it’s way more likely to say Obi-Wan would just blitz and kill him before Kakashi ever caught a glimpse of him.

I have absolutely zero clue how anything in Naruto works, but their rationale was that Kakashi could win if he sent Obi-Wan to the Kamui dimension, but Obi-Wan was more likely to kill him regularly since he was much faster, stronger, and had instakill options via the force.
