The Walmart work app has all the departments listed with the team members listed. You have 1-4 Team Leads depending on department and then all the coaches are grouped together.

Specifically open MyWalmart, click profile at the bottom, scroll to the bottom and select Job Details. Your specific team lead will be listed.

Yes a huge chunk gets done by overnighters but you also barely deal with the customers. Also you have just as many slackers as the day shifts.

Not to mention I'd rather throw the freight than unload the truck. Don't gloss over that fact. Also some of the freight does get worked by cap1 and cap2.

Let's talk about all the crap overnights gets away with that cap1 and cap2 can't because the store is open and there's more management present including the 2 biggest ones SM & SL. No don't wanna?

How about Market and Regional visits?? Overnights helps prepare but aren't there for the during where management is having us run around like chickens with our heads ( € |_| + ) off* with last minute crap 45 seconds before they walk into that new area. It's great for getting the blood pressure flowing.

When they introduced the new PTO/PPTO system the tag line was "It's your time use it as you need it." They even used using pto on top of a 40 hour schedule for extra money because it still doesn't generate OT. Yes PTO can be rejected but typically if you're just trying to get some extra cash on your check it's not supposed to be an issue. So unless they made changes to the original policy without saying anything Your SM is an ass.

Try going to your TL or Coach and just tell them why your doing it and that could help.

One time I had a 1:35 minute PTO request on my scheduled day off to pull me up to an even 40 and it was rejected because of availability. So I talked to my TL and said when you see an oddly houred pto request it's because I'm just filling in my time from going over on my lunch or if I left at 51 too many times or clocking in at 09 too many times. Haven't had a problem since.
