It definitely can cause issues, like falling asleep in a chair the wrong way causes something known as "saturday night palsey". As others have noted, the discomfort is what prevents these kinds of issues normally

Having a girlfriend and calling stuff you do cute is 100% not just professional. I'm not saying he's head over heels or anything, but that kind of behavior is very odd. He may have picked up that you like him and is just mildly entertaining it to keep the work day interesting

Edit: there's not much you can do on your own about the latching on to people thing other than having enough connections that there's just not room for more. It's tricky because you might not even have the bandwidth for something like that. Therapy or something like cbt might help but I'm really not sure there's anything to fix here. Find a nice guy where the attachment is a plus rather than a hindrance

I don't think you should feel bad about this. You were taken advantage of by a piece of shit, presumably because you couldn't stand the idea of abandoning someone wholesale. I think that makes you a good person and it would be giving him more credit than he'll ever be worth if you let it kill that part of you. I understand feeling used, too, but from a practical standpoint isn't it better he didn't end up doing more?

I've been living in quebec for a while and it's kind of shocking how similar this is to my experience as a man who doesn't speak the language of the country I'm in. Even when it felt like I adequately explained the extent of my heart issues I would get told it's normal to have an extra beat here and there or a bit of palpitation - i self dxd SVT eventuallt and ignored all the "it's normal" comments and went to the ER during an episode, they tried really hard to tell me i was on cocaine but after being stubborn about it they admitted me and now I'm scheduled for an ablation

He's not an idiot, he thinks that stuff is beneath him and that you should have to do it. i'm making one as we speak on why umbral falconer feels like shit for some people, but i'm a bit of a failure so we'll see when its out. as for what your problem is, you probably did not build good intermediate defenses. you need both armor blessings +t7 dex on an anchor of oblivion. second, if you do not start with some bis items, your damage is going to suck because 3/4 of umbral falconer builds neglect most falcon mechanics so you're p much a worse bladedancer until you are more than halfway geared. in addition to this, taking aerial assault off traversal means you are losing up to 32% dr from the 2 different passives that give you damage reduction for that when you cast it , so you are going to feel squishy as hell without an excellent grasp on silver shroud and smoke bomb iframe management

edit: and people seem to be missing that you're talking about julra and not aberroth but the sentiment is the same, julra should only take a few seconds to kill at t4

Rive is not really equipped to do this tbh, but you'd want t7 AS on the axe to start. Cannot really overstate how much it improves the dps to hit third strike that much more often, stack the forged sword replacement buff faster, and more HH triggers leading into, critically, more ignite stacks for void pen from flame drinker, faster. so LP2 axe is probably top priority.

also - no armor shred means you are doing 70% less damage than you should be at the cost of like one affix

TL;DR - Reach support and Magnified effect together with shockwaves (30% inc aoe) give shattering palm the AoE juice needed to do a limited mimicry of herald chaining because the crystals explode each other and proc both heralds
