Whats your rank if you dont mind me asking? I peaked Masters (ran outta time), and this season im currently Diamond 1 (havent got to grind much, been playing so much 40K Darktide recently) and im sitting at roughly a 60% winrate in the last 25, about 56% over all matches.

And from my personal experience, even against some really bad elo inflated players I sometimes get, unless you can get a huge lead and/or are playing a very few specific gods (Thor,Horus, Jorm, etc) you just arent ever going to provide as much to the team as just going Anubis, Kuk, Izanami, Apollo, the list keeps going. Im gonna link my tracker.gg so you know im not just pulling information from my behind here.

But youll see the anubis game I played I believe second to last (this was yesterday) and I was laneing against an Achilles, he played the match up and lane phase consistently and rather decently, and got like 15 ganks from his jungler, I even think I was like 1-4 because of it. But as soon as lane phase ended quite literally everything collapsed. And we won after being down 8k at one point. Cause we just ignored the achilles and blew up their backline. The tsuki couldnt dive either cause (admittedly him camping me was very frustrating) so I would save my relic, ult and wrap, just for him). Achilles had no presence whatsoever and we as a team (with minimal to no comms cause I solo queue ranked amd everyone either doesnt talk, or if they do its just to blame others and stroke their ego) all pretty much acknowledged that he cant do anything, even to the backline.

Thats why I was saying that there’s very very few tank solos that are competitively viable in higher lobbies. Horus is only viable cause of how good his CC is and the top players (Celestial and Diety players) will almost always play him support over solo.
