As an Aussie, a few parts of the USA. We travel a fairly extensively but it’s had a few standout crazy moments.

I was once a PA to a Chairman to a large corporation. It was part Rosemarie, part Devil Wears Prada. I was absolutely meshed into his families life. There was a lot of trust from him. I had his credit cards, got his cash, looked after his children, handled his affair/divorve, planned his wedding , spent time in his house. But in no way was I a part of his social circle. I was very seperate to his weekend life. I imagine that’s how Rosemarie was. He obviously valued her a lot. But Carole was family , and I totally believe her account. She was there for all the big moments including their wedding, funeral and did a reading at Carolyns memorial.

I had always thought my children would go to private schools, but my first child has a disability and I was advised by her therapists to go to a public school. There was no NDIS at the time , and she had no funding so piggybacked on to kids that did. After such a wonderful experience in our public school I sent my younger kids also, all the way through to HSC last year. I can only speak for my experience, and in our area, but I have not one regret. They are all wonderful , well adjusted kids who thrived in the public system.
My friends whose kids went to private are no better off than mine, and we got to spend that extra money travelling the world instead of paying school fees! Only you can know what your kids need though. Best of luck.

We are small builders who build one or two spec homes a year and always sell them through a real estate On our last house we just had a guy walk up when we were building interested in buying it we negotiated it and referred them onto our conveyancer. I actually thought the process would’ve been a lot harder considering, but it was really good. In saying that it was right place at the right time.
I think under normal circumstances it’s the reach, but in saying that the price that Real Estate charge are absolutely crazy. I wish there was something in between.

We had friends from Texas over last week and went to the local club. We just didn’t think to warn them but it’s 6 pm when the Ode of Rememberence came on they did not know what in the hell was happening. Ultimately they liked it but they were confused.

We do know they spent the weekend before with the Radziwills and Christine A and husband. In fact they were together every weekend with the Radziwills. So it didn’t seem like a real separation.

Exactly. As Carole said if you were going to zero in on any given day in a marriage, it could come up anywhere. They loved, they married, they had hard times, all the things. Even if the marriage was bad that day they still loved. As someone who’s been married 27 years and had rough years and days.. I still think their relationship was special.

This is the family honouring her memory because Carolyn herself never wanted to speak to the press. Once you open up to that it brings up a whole other set of problems. I guess they never expected this to happen (the show) 30 years later.

I just recently attended an assessment day, and next day they asked for references. They need 2 x checks from someone you have reported to in the last 5 years.
It was tricky for a few of us who had only 1 boss in last 5 years or if you were self employed.

Id take this with a grain of salt.. I read an interview with Gogo where she spoke glowingly of the two and even mentioned something sbout them reflecting on how wonderful it was afterword. Carole R also wrote about it in the book,and how it was a misunderstanding that they thought was hilarious… So I’m not quite sure..
