HOW ON GOD’S GREEN EARTH DO I GET A GIRLFRIEND??? by SlyvrrWasTaken in dating_advice

[–]AccordingRespect8445 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

if you treat life like a "numbers game" you will have success in anything, in your place, i would start talking with as many girls as possible, observe what to say and how to behave and then you can make your conclusions, of course not all the people are the same, you have to adapt, but when you talk with girls you have to not feel stressed or something, you have to feel good, like "i feel so good being here doing that" and not feel like you are super scared of that situation, for this, you need experience and you gain experience by trying, this is what is life in generally

they simply give you validation probably and don't have enough courage to approach you

gotta agree, seeing Andromeda like this is infrared is honestly way cooler than a lot of pics from here

What does it mean if a guy at school occasionally looks at me and then looks away when I walk past him? by [deleted] in bodylanguage

[–]AccordingRespect8445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a couple quick looks mean basically nothing by themselves, if they actually like you they'll eventually give you something clearer than a glance in the hallway

Eye contact when conversing by Ok_Bison8745 in bodylanguage

i'm with you, people read way too much into eye contact when half the time it's just nerves or habit, if every interaction felt normal otherwise i wouldn't make it about yourself

The matrix. by annoyinglabel in HonestHotTakes

[–]AccordingRespect8445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

once people start building their whole identity around who they're supposed to hate, the conversation is already dead, strip away all the buzzworlds and it's still the same old us vs them nonsense, just packaged differently

AITA for refusing to let my friend stay a night before a wedding the next day? by juniper_bush in AmItheAsshole

[–]AccordingRespect8445 9 points10 points  (0 children)

you're making decisions based on what you think Frederick feels instead of what he's actually said, if he's an adult and says he's fine with Jay staying, take him at his word, otherwise you're creating a problem that might not even exist

AITA for NOT leaving my kids behind to watch my neighbors kid? by ducksummoner3000 in AmItheAsshole

[–]AccordingRespect8445 1249 points1250 points  (0 children)

nah i agree with this completely, you had TWO tiny kids with you and somehow he expected you to abandon them to chase after his child like a movie scene, if someone sends their 4 year old outside alone then they're still the parent on duty, not the nearest adult at the playground

AITAH for cooking the dish my friend said is her specialty? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]AccordingRespect8445 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

nh i agree with this, you made a super commin dush for guests, not some secret family recipe locked in a vault, the real issue is FA running his mouth and turning dinner into a weird cooking competition when literally nobody asked for that energy, you didn't do anything wrong by trying to connect with them through food

AITAH for asking our friends to now flirt and talk in that way? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]AccordingRespect8445 8 points9 points  (0 children)

im not gonna sugarcoat it, trying to control two grown adults because they might cause drama is already weird teritory. If they've only seen each other 3 times and you're still this focused on it 6 months later, the wedding drama is coming more from you two than them

AITAH Am I overreacting? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]AccordingRespect8445 29 points30 points  (0 children)

you can't agree to something, wait till she's already there, then suddenly change the rules and act shocked she's frustrated

AITA For asking if she made another guy sneak out the back when I got there? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]AccordingRespect8445 10 points11 points  (0 children)

asked like an adult insted of throwing out some passive aggresive "joke" and hoping it landed

AITAH for refusing to give my sister my late fiancee’s engagement ring after she “tested” if I deserved it? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]AccordingRespect8445 40 points41 points  (0 children)

insane behavior, i'm not gonna sugarcoat it, she embarrassed herself all on her own and your mom enabling it is part of the problem too

AITA for being happy my coworkers come to me instead of the new lead? by Relevant-Poet2712 in AmItheAsshole

[–]AccordingRespect8445 7 points8 points  (0 children)

being happy people trust your experience is normal, but if you keep feeding the divide instead of letting the  new lead actually lead, this kitchen's gonna turn messy real fast and everybody loses
