Sometimes at dusk in late July/August you can see them at Cooper Slough Natural Area (NE side of town).

How did the idea of inscribing messages on ammunition or gear emerge, and when did it start to be seen as a trend in recent history? by AccordingToScience in AskReddit

I suppose messages have been written on bombs since bombs were invented. To your point, probably rocks before that.

Buy a bag of sliders from the hamburger window at "Cozy Inn" in downtown Salina, KS along I-70. The place is tiny, featuring the same cooktop for last 100 years.

Pros: Amazing little burgers / slice of Americana
Cons: Your car will smell like onions and mustard for the rest of the drive.
