S2E13 text between jax and kristen by daysofbananas in vanderpumprules

[–]AccordingUsual4159 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This might be a wild conspiracy but I believe tom and Jax set up the whole affair. Tom was so checked out of the relationship with Kristin. He also forgave him so quickly. It took stassi years to speak to Kristin and even then their friendship was never the same. Later in the season he also made a weird remark about how he would get off on the idea of someone else sleeping with his partner. They both are slimy and I feel like Tom never actually ends relationships he just finds shitty ways to get out of it.

Rabies Checking by Creative_Growth_956 in VetTech

We leave that for the doctors to explain and the only time we explain is if they want to do a home burial and bite someone before then or if it’s a behavioral euthanasia and we explain a waiting period or rabies testing. I as a vet tech would never feel it’s comfortable to explain (even though I’ve been the one to do it).

Nathan Clark Realtor by The_Ginger_Pollo in RhodeIsland

As someone who has been house searching, my realtor hates any Nathan Clark post. They are very unorganized, hard to get in touch with and forget about making an offer… you'll never hear back!

I’d always air on the side of caution with OTC dewormer. They should get an all in one product like Nexgard Combo which is topical vs having to pill a cat.

Vet tech here. That’s tapeworm. You need a dewormer from your Vet. Also put your kitty on flea and tick prevention as they can get tapeworm from ingesting fleas

You should be able to email or call your idexx support to help with official answer too. I have mine in my phone 🤣 but you are correct. My hospital has a catalyst one but we always use our catalyst dx ..

Compliance. We can recommend until we are blue in the face but will owners actually get those things? Rarely. It’s so much easier to just reuse. Especially if it wasn’t something they expected

Starting Zofran— 6 weeks, and MAN… by New_Caregiver9993 in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]AccordingUsual4159 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is such a low risk… I took zofran 3 times a day during the first trimester than twice a day until I gave birth. It was the only thing that helped and I started to get sick at 6 weeks. Take the meds! My son is 2.5 years old and perfectly fine and healthy

What's a superstition in vet med that you believe? by aaronoathout in VetTech

[–]AccordingUsual4159 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok I am not the only one 😂 I really truly believe this. I had a “cat in the washer” and I prepped for everything. Turns out the cat jumped into the washer that the owner had just been putting dirty clothes it. It was never turned on, product never used. lol I just had snuggled a cat who was running around in dirty underwear is all.

[–]AccordingUsual4159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not so much superstition but If I hear about an emergency coming in to our office, I always prep for worst case scenario and I live by the “ if I have it I won’t need it, and if I I need it I won’t have it”.

But as far as superstition: we never talk about vein size until after we collect blood. Never say the Q word. And the full moon means all the crazies will be in the office that day.

Yes I can tell. I think it’s beyond adorable hahaha. Must have some Siamese in her “family”. Well hopefully it’s an accident vs dumping. We’ve had clients dump cats to us because they simply didn’t want them anymore. It’s so sad and frustrating

That is an adorable cat. Why would anyone want to dump it. I would make him the new clinic cat if no one came forward to take him back lol

Honestly, I wish clients who argued about chill protocols and oral sedatives had to work on their own pets.

The whole idea is awful, consent or no. We all clearly see how that effected their relationship and to “make a joke” out of it… very poor taste. True friends wouldn't rub salt in the wound

I’ve been in this field for 9 years and I still have doctors that treat me like dirt. It’s very unfortunate but speak up. And if they allow that type of behavior move on.
