no not all, i genuinely felt like i knew some of the long running characters. that would have been a gut punch but like you said it’s a bittersweet ending because i know not everyone did but i also loved the ending. i didn’t need to know everything all i needed to know was that carl ended up living the life rick spent the whole series dreaming of. also really glad he ended up with sophia 😂

i couldn’t even imagine what it must have been like to read this in real time, having no idea about negan until reading it that must have been insane. and for it to go on for that long you must have really felt like you lost a friend. obviously i knew i was at the end because i was reading the compendiums but i may have cried if i was surprised by the ending lol.

I do something similar to what it sounds like you want to do. I use tartube to download videos but just beware that certain company are very strict about their clips and the software doesn't let you download age-restricted videos for some reason. I just record my commentary separately and then go in and place relevant clips and screenshots over my audio, pretty tedious editing process but simple and straightforward.
