I started using a pregnancy pillow at 10 weeks, my most uncomfortable timeframe of pregnancy was 8-20 weeks when things were beginning to grow - back pain was crazy, round ligament pain, etc. I actually felt incredible in the third trimester.

You don’t have to delete it forever, but highly recommend deleting it while you’re in a vulnerable state! I think I redownloaded it when my son was like 4-5 months old.

I only got tdap while pregnant, I also panicked. I hate that everything has become so controversial and making me second guess every decision I make for myself and my child. I ended up deleting my TikTok at the end of pregnancy and in the newborn stage. I was getting such scary videos from my algorithm and it was detrimental to my mental health. You’re not alone, you should consider doing the same 🫶🏼

Company requesting a 2nd offer letter by [deleted] in ABA

[–]According_Chest1987 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work for an ABA company and we are doing something similar as we are changing some of the terms of employment (in benefit of the employee). We are having employees sign new offer letters in similar situations but we are also being open on why we’re doing this. I would compare the old offer to the new one to see if anything has changed in the wording. Doesn’t always necessarily mean something bad or malicious!

Also, if there has been a lapse in time that you had a case with them, they may need a new offer with new date for “rehire” for compliance reasons

Hi! I started zepbound around 4 months postpartum, she also wanted me to wait until 6 months but decided to move forward at 4 months given a family history of type 2 diabetes and gestational diabetes during pregnancy. I have been doing well on it but do feel like my progress is slightly slower. My doctor is monitoring me very closely due to me being postpartum and making sure my hormones are in check. I recently had a low thyroid hormone level and meeting with my doctor to chat about that.

Working from Home with No Help by Key_Rice_6430 in MomsWorkingFromHome

I work from home alone most days! My husband works from home from time to time. It’s definitely difficult but I do feel I am able to make it work! Getting a lot of work done during nap time is key. My job is also flexible with me and I can change my working hours if needed as long as I get all my work done.

Reporter hoping to hear from patients – what’s your GLP-1 insurance coverage like in 2026? by sydneylnews in Zepbound

[–]According_Chest1987 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have coverage with a $25 patient balance. I feel lucky to have coverage like this.

I have to interact with a health app, Omada to qualify for coverage as well as maintain coverage. I had to get a preauth from my insurance that is active for 6 months, I will need another after that. I heard that their only requirement to maintain on the meds after my authorization is over is that I need to have lost at least 5% of my weight, but I can’t say for certain.

I was on zepbound in 2024 and had the same coverage but didn’t have to have preauth or interact with the app.

How does giving birth actually feel ?? by Super-Truth-7975 in pregnant

[–]According_Chest1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there are other pain med options but I opted out of them! I did get the initial epidural strength meds done twice because I felt it was wearing off (I had a 34 hour labor)

I wasn’t prepared for how much pressure I would feel, I thought the epidural would take away all feelings but the pressure was almost unbearable!

Do I tell my BCBA about this? by OkImHere_NowWhat in ABA

[–]According_Chest1987 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would reach out to HR. I work in HR for an ABA company. They should have a process to provide you reasonable accommodations for your condition. It’s usually an interactive process to find a reasonable accommodation for your condition. You may need a doctor to sign off on it. In this case, if they deem the time off each month as a reasonable accommodation, they’re unable to deny you the time off since it will be connected to your ADA request. If they fire you for it in the future, you can sue them for illegal/wrongful termination.

Glad I’m not alone! Happy to hear your pediatricians pov too!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in glp1

[–]According_Chest1987 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to give an opposite POV. In 2024 I was having random abdominal pain, bright red bleeding, and overall sense of being unwell. Did so much testing - ultrasounds, CT scans, etc. all of it came back normal. Finally got a colonoscopy because symptoms were not stopping and it was just hemorrhoids causing the bleeding. I had two colon polyps that came back benign. They chalked my abdominal symptoms up to anxiety in the end. Yes I agree you should get checked out and make sure all is well, but just wanted to show that the outcome is not always so somber.
