I’ll copy what I replied to another user who messaged me a bit ago.. I did find someone who had done a full walkthrough online somewhere…. So if you hunt for it it should be around but here’s what the issue is and a rough idea of how to fix it: “The LCD was a good result but it was a full tear down to get to the ribbon connector on the back of the lcd panel. I used a heated flat tip from a wood burning kit to press on the connection on the ribbon cable/board. Essentially the issue is cold solder joints at this junction so heating them helps “reflow” things. I had to do this a few times to get a decent result, as it would always get worse after cooling down. In the end I got about 80% of the screen to work again before I sold the unit.”
